I sometimes forget to check depending on what I am doing at the time when I receive them.
The reason you many not be receiving a response when sending an appointment request, maybe the companion you have contacted has a Gmail account and has not set her P411 appointments to come from her "Social" tabs into her "Primary" tabs. Most ladies NEVER check their "Social" tabs. It's okay if you are PM'ing or emailing a companion to check her availability, but I would also follow up with an appointment request once you two have agreed on a date. Not sure what the reasoning is for this question, but I hope my response helps.Smooches, Kelis Monet
Maybe some of the women here can shed some light on this.
When I log in to P411, I have a couple options for contacting s-workers. Either sending a private message or making an appointment request. When you open up the PM window, they have a note there saying you should use "appointment request" for requesting appointments.
Here's where it gets interesting. In the 5-6 years or so I've been using P411, I've requested appointments using the "appointment request" five times, and others either by sending a private message or just by e-mailing directly. I have NEVER received a response or even an acknowledgement when I use the "appointment request" feature. Sending a private message or just e-mailing gets me a response about 98% of the time.
Does P411 make you pay to view requests sent through their "appointment request" system? I wondered since they have that note about using it instead of the standard PM form. Or is the notification for one somehow different from the other? With the failure rate of that option I think there has to be something different about it.
If you already have an exact day and time in mind an appointment request spells everything out and is very helpful. It also lets us know that you're serious about the appointment.
If you are trying to see when an appointment would be best scheduled or have any other questions then a PM is fine.
Some providers (myself included)like to be contacted via P411 instead of email because your info is already there and we don't have to play 21 questions to get your screening info.
But no, There is no fee for providers to communicate via P411.
It's more formal in my book & it's professional. Anyone who sends a pm I always ask for them to send an appt request...
I book almost exclusively via P-411 nowadays.
As already stated, providers do not pay to use the basic service which includes all communication methods to clients. They can pay extra though for more premium advertising options.
I am actually quite surprised that you have had better results via the PM option than the Appointment Request option. I have only used the PM function when I have noticed that a provider I am interested in is "On Line" at the moment. If she is currently logged in to her account then this status is indicated to clients. She may or may not be available or willing to "chat" for a bit.
There is also one additional option not yet mentioned in this thread. That is the "Pre-Screening Only" option in the Appointment Request. The business model of some providers do not include or shall I say appreciate this option. I can understand if they are busy enough by just accepting actual appointment requests, but I find it very useful when I know I am going to be traveling to a certain area but do not yet know my daily schedule. For those providers that accept this request it can really shorten the time to eventually hook up when my schedule is known. I really try to not make this type of request unless I plan to later proceed with a session but I can see how some guys might abuse it, in which case could further sour some providers to not want to participate. In the long run though I think it can only increase their business, but at a certain cost of time of course.
but there is one tangible reason to not do so that I can think of.
The ladies are "required" to respond to all "appointment requests" in a timely manner, even if the response is to decline the appointment, there is no such requirement regarding PM's.
If you are not getting responses from the ladies when using the "appointment request" contact Gina and she will get on their ass. Of course the responses you get might be along the lines of "fuck you, loser" but you'll get your response. lol
I don't want to get anyone in trouble and I especially don't want any enemies. : )
Thanks for the responses, folks. I guess I can't explain it either, just a weird coincidence.
Which is another reason why appointment request should be sent and Gina prefers it. If a gentleman NCNS after sending an appointment request, P411 makes note of it and if done often membership get cancelled. They same for ladies, if you there is a record of accepting appointments and NCNS they will get banned.
This is why appointments should not be accepted through PM, because that is proof that an appointment was made.
but in my case, I almost always am booking "same day" Not all ladies can accommodate same day requests and rather than putting in a formal "appointment request" for twenty minutes from now which most likely will be met with disdain, I simply PM the ladies who I am interested in with a message something like
"Hi Kelis, my name is GaGambler, I saw your P 411 ad and I would love to see you. I know this is very short notice, but I would love to see you as soon as this afternoon if you are available, if you are not, I certainly understand and we can make it some other time. Please feel free to check out my profile and okays before getting back to me. I am free all day to work around your schedule today if you are able to see me on such short notice. If you would like me to send you an appointment request to actually book an appointment with you, I don't mind at all doing so, just let me know what time today (if any of course) you are free for a one hour appointment, and I will send a request over to you right away.
I do try to use common sense and only send PM's like this to ladies where I have seen them running "available now" ads and who are either "online" or appear to log in on a very regular basis to increase my odds of her being available. One of the beauties of making appointments only an hour or two out is that it cuts down the odds of NCNS down to almost zero. I doubt more than one or two appointments out of a hundred I make this way ever get canceled.
This of course is just the way "I" do things, I am not saying it's the only way, but for a guy like me who sometimes doesn't even know what state or country he will be in on any given day, it works for me. Yes, there are women that will NEVER be able to see me this way, but fortunately there are hundreds/thousands that will.
I sometimes forget to check depending on what I am doing at the time when I receive them.

After I send a P-411 Appointment Request (especially if it's an actual date and time, not a pre-screen) then I will ALSO send her an email directed to her preferred email account on her website. The email is short, includes my P-411 ID, and simply states I sent an appointment request via P-411 and offering to send additional info if needed.
This really helps to to keep things from falling through the cracks.
I am surprised by the lack of response from the appointment request form, unless as previously stated that it may be directed elsewhere in the ladies' inboxes. I prefer a request form as it comes straight to me without having to login to P411 to answer immediately and has all the info I'm going to ask for anyways in one location. I also feel as though it is a more serious inquiry and helps with very quick and easy scheduling, which is great for last minute or same day meetings.
