Well obviously looks is the first hurdle. I like a wide variety of women though so as long as they aren't exceedingly fat or have no pictures they can make the next step. TER information and reviews are next, I need to know what I'm getting myself into. I'm particularly fond of DATY, so reading that she's open to and responsive to that is an important hurdle. I like unique things, gene simmons tongue or having porn videos is a plus. Rates are probably the last of my considerations, unless it's some $600/hr plus girl who gets the axe immediately. Nothing against them as some have awesome photos, but until I win the lotto that's a bit much for me. 2 hour price being slightly less than double what an hour costs is a plus, as I always need at least an hour and a half to finish.

My rates are realistic, fixed, no up-sale because I prefer establishing long-tern relationships. My quality of service  is important to me for that reason. I see sometimes how men try to talk mean about a girl who didn't give what they want, or how they want, or when they want; or give her/them a lower score without a sound reason, it's because they want the prices to drop. Some request firemen/birthday/handsome/regular, etc. type of discounts. It's all about how far they can push you to drop your rates. Ever since I let go of my assistants, I charge $25-50 less. Each lady knows exactly how much she worth based on her look, service, cost of an incall location and an outcall distance. According to many statistics, women are not good negotiators. Men are much more brave at that point. For instance, men go to their bosses and ask raise because their wives had another baby. If the woman mentions at work that she wants to have a baby, she is risking to not to get promoted, and in some cases, to lose her job. This is the fact. For the past decades, the prices continue dropping for the favor of the men, yet, the limits will be continuously pushed. Back to my rates.. Lately, I hear people recommend me to raise my prices up at least to 350 or 450/hr. As I said, the reason why keep mine as they are is because I also like to have a choice and I always choose what's best for me. The situation with my rates will change if the inflation will increase (it will affect prices on gas, rooms, flights). Let's hope this won't happen

We know $250 is a lady at the end of her career, or going for quantity of dates to max out daily income--usually with a pimp nearby. $300 is a nice rate for just about any lady, imo. Lower $ brings in smelly scumbags who'll do their damndest to wear the provider out.

1. THE MOTIVATING FACTOR
At 15 years old, I worked at McDonalds for $5.25/hr.  At the time, that rate motivated me. I was dedicated and couldn't wait for that paycheck! Now, $5.25/hr would never motivate me unless I was struggling financially, b/c over time I became accustomed to much more money (better jobs, higher pay). Similarly, for some ladies, rates are based on what motivates them to work and the lifestyles they're accustomed to. $300? It might sound like a lot to some escorts, but to others, it's just not motivating. $500+ is more like it! And it's not about them feeling better than others (see option below). These ladies can choose whatever rate they see fit if money isn't a factor due to a RL job, sugar daddy or coming from money etc. This type is definitely not about ego, just motivation.  

2. SELF-WORTH/COMPARING ONESELF
There are some ladies who pick their rates based on what they feel they're worth. They may feel they're too good (or not good enough) for a certain rate b/c they think they're better (or worse) than other escorts at that rate etc. If a gal can't get her requested rate, she might have self-esteem issues b/c she bases her rate on herself as a person. Also, comparing oneself doesn't always work and a lady could lowball herself. Ex., think of the lady with a super model face that compares herself to a blurred faced average looking escort (same body type) but chooses the same rate b/c she doesn't know she is more attractive and could potentially make more. lol

4. GET MONEY FAST
Picks the lowest rate she thinks will bring in lots of calls quickly. She might lowball herself, but wants money fast. Pretty simple.

5. ATTRACTING A CERTAIN CLIENTELE
Lady really wants to attract high rollers and sets her rates accordingly. High rollers like to spend money even if it's a lot. Lady knows she can command a higher rate. Or the lady who wants to cater to the lower or middles classes and chooses a lower rate.

6. OTHER
There are other approaches like a lady needs to make a certain amount (ex. 2k/wk) in literally the five hours she has available a week (kids, work, school etc occupy the rest of her time). Or the lady who really likes longer dates and chooses rates that she feels will work. Or the ladies who read the boards and see some men will only pay $200 or less, so they pick those rates.  

There are too many reasons, but the overall theme is that many times the reason why a lady picks her rates isn't about snubbing her nose at anyone, though some people will think ladies with higher rates are doing so. There are just different approaches.

I chose mine based on her TER reviews. Her reviews were pretty good, but there were a few bad ones. Can't please everyone. She's Cute and her Skills are Awesome. Prices are inline with what most guys can Afford. Although she's told me about some Clients that try to Lowball her. I've been seeing her for only 3 months and I'm darn lucky I met her.

I've been told i'd be justified at at least 300, maybe even 350.  My rates right now imo are a mega bargain for my skills and the cities I am based in or frequent/care to frequent (DC, Boston, Chicago, Philly, NY, CT, etc).

There are so many things I look at. I'm an analytical person so I do my research. Must be on TER! Must have more that 4 recent reviews (last 2 months). I'm a VIP so I look at overall numbers at the top of the listing. I look at the physical attributes I am looking for in my search engine. I look at her price in the listing (though not always correct). If that looks good, I go to her site. I verify their prices. Too high....I go no further. Too low and offers half hours.....I move on. NOW I look at her pics. They should be sexy, alluring without being filthy. I look for at least some nudity in the pic. If it looks likes she's hiding a tummy...I still look further. Finally, I like local ladies because I don't see many women (1-2) and I want to build a relationship too. If the calendar is open for what I need, we're in business. God I'm tired. I will be seeing someone tomorrow. YEAH!

To charge more, a lady has to value herself more, and present herself well. Let me take a stab at explaining what that means.

She either needs to be young, pretty, and slender or know how to present herself so that she looks that way. She needs to have a good web site with flattering pictures, a pleasant, welcoming incall, nice clothes and know how to make herself up well (but not so that the makeup is too obvious or leaves tracks on her clients). She needs to offer a warm GFE service, usually offering at least BBBJ, DATY, FS (of course) and DFK, and offer all that in a way that makes the guys feel special, truly liked and enjoyed.

She needs to hold to her prices in the face of all sorts of whining from guys, but do it in a nice way - "Sorry honey, I wish I could, but I just can't do that for you at that price." And don't get into discussion about the why, just be firm and nice about it.

But mostly, I think she needs to have an idea of what the high end of prices for her looks, age and body type and be focused on doing what she needs to do to get there, even if it means some quiet days and foregone business. And remember that the key to getting those prices is not as much getting someone to come see her once, but clients to keep returning. You are building a clientele.

I have often wondered if one other thing that separates ladies who can charge a lot from ladies who cannot is that the former are comfortable with long dates. If you can do a 3 hour+ date with no problem, then the number of clients you need goes down even further, and you can really afford to charge a lot for those one hour guys.

As to how I pick, let's see - looks, services, reviews (or some form of verification) and price. I tend to be a 300-350 guy, but I have paid over 500, and around 100 (not in the US) for an hour. As I once posted on some board here, there is something magic for me about 400 for 90. Somehow I am ready to take that leap, see a lady, at that price when I would not see her at a lower or higher price. Can't explain it.

I divide the one hour rate by the average TER score.  The result discloses the best value.  A provider with a rate of 300 and a rating of 7 yields 42 and a provider with a rate of 300 and a rating of 8 yields 37.  The lesser the number the better.  This allows comparison of those charging differing rates.  Those charging more than 400 are never worth it under this analysis.  But, sometimes you may want to splurge.  On the other hand, I would pay more for a West Loop provider due to convience.  Cant find any tho.

I charge what I can get..end of story. If I can't get it, time to rethink some things. I charge based on the volume of clients I want to see, and that's only 1-2 per week.

I feel like almost every provider has a bracket they fit into. Like mine for instants is being black, full figured, in a good expensivd neighborhood with excellent service.So based on my scores and limited services is why I chose my rates, which I think are pretty good. And what's the big deal about hh appointments?
