A while back I posted here that it seems as if the provider hobby is only affordable to the top 10 percent of the income bracket these days.  What alternatives are available to those who can't afford them with any regularity, and will the hobby ever be affordable to folks in the Lower 90?

The sad part is that I don't hobby as much as I use to, plus I cannot see someone as often as I wish I could.  Nonetheless, I still hobby, but only after I have saved enough for a nice time (90 minutes).  I have seen providers who know me and who have provided extended time as we mostly simply talk during that time.

Save up money for a cheap flight to San Diego.

Take wine for instance.  You have $2 buck chuck to $X,XXX bottles of wine.  Each will get you buzzed, if that is your goal, however if you have a refined pallet, you won't enjoy the lower end experience as much.  The hobby is the same.  The provider you reviewed was $800 for two hours.  It sounds like you had a great time.  For the same money you could have had 6 half hour experiences on BP, or possibly 5 trips to the AMP.  Each session would have left you drained at the end.  There are plenty of alternatives, but each has its pro's and con's.

If you want genuine responses you need to be specific about what you want to spend. Unless you are just looking for a pity party.
