Am fairly new to hobbying. So, I emailed a  new provider that I was interested in from rs2k.  She emailed me back saying that she's also fairly new and offered to send me the email address of one of her clients in order to verify her. I responded that I did not think that was a good idea at all.  No phone number and googled her email with no results. Also, not mentioned at all on TER. Any thoughts ?  Proceed with caution or not at all.  Thanks to all.

...that's the safe thing to do.  You didn't mention where you saw her ad.  Was it on RS2K?

Personally, I would not see anyone that doesn't have a review, unless you have a VERY good feeling about her.

and are the only service that does that, they can't vouch for them being good though.  It does seem odd she would be so willing to give up another guests info like that, you have to wonder what she might do with yours.  Just my thoughts, Sage

Otherwise, as you said it's either she is giving out info without permission, or she is giving out info with permission (meaning, they are both in on it).

Hard to say... BUT:

In this day and age, it pays to be careful so I wouldn't go near her until I see some reviews from established hobbyists. Rs2k does verify, which makes me feel a little better, but they're capable of being tricked like any other service.

It could be a setup, or the other "client" could actually be her pimp or boyfriend, or maybe it's really just a client who said he would vouch for her. In any of those cases, I wouldn't go for it.

I probably would have felt better if she just said she was new and you could be her first reviewer. It's either fishy, or she's so new that she's naive, which can be just as bad.

I have some friends with little to no history with reviews and no website = very little web presence- get an ad with no problem on RS2K. Of course my friends are legit, but they were told that someone needed to vouch for them. I said I would- but RS2K never contacted me to actually verify the lady. I was surprised. I don't think their screening of the ladies is very good. I would pass on this one.

P411 makes ladies go thru the an intense process if they don't have a long history or web presence. I trust their efforts much more.

Stick with established, well reviewed ladies. Period.

To do anything else risks being ripped off, or worse. There are ways to validate the woman in the situation you describe, or invalidate her, but you would not be asking the question if you had the experience and the contacts to do that, so see above.

Not sure I agree with the fellows who advise only to see previously reviewed ladies. If we all had that approach: there wouldnt be any reviews!

I feel every now and then you just want to see a lady, that you do sans-review. And there's something about being the first to post on a nice hottie! And you also TOFTT

That being said, be careful. There are definitely some warning signs once you're dealing and setting up with a lady. We can speculate back & forth til we're blue in the face, wont really amount to much. But you'd have the best feel since you're dealing with her.

The OP, who identified himself as "fairly new" asked for some advice about a specific situation, and we replied accordingly. You seem to be disagreeing with us in principle regarding something none of us ever said - "only to see previously reviewed ladies" - but then waffle on whether or not this guy should see this lady.

Of course more experienced hobbyists see new ladies all the time, and we all do and should TOFTT both for the benefit of the new providers as well as our fellow hobbyists. But there are a lot of things that need to happen before one can safely TOFTT, and as you point out, the screening info this particular lady is offering does not seem to be worth much, so the OP would be proceeding purely on gut feel. Terrible idea for a Newbie. You or I might know to ask a bunch of other screening questions that would lead to real people who could vouch for her, or real information that would make us feel more comfortable, or perhaps just talk to her enough to make us feel comfortable. Someone who is "fairly new" should not be playing that game.

I believe the advice was directed to newbies. It is not about whether to ever TOFTT or to never see ladies without reviews. It is meant to give said newbie a chance to gain experience through contact with established ladies and by reading more on the Board.

My advice is to select from established ladies. There are certainly enough to choose from. They come in all sizes, shapes and looks, from spinners to BBWs, short to tall, $$ to $$$$, natural and enhanced, mature to teens and so on. Just doing your homework systematically can be an education unto itself.

After gaining experience with the ladies and with the selection/research process, you can be in a better position to develop your own criteria. But until then, there's no need to risk getting burned by bad experiences.
