Yes, every once in awhile, I do have success meeting someone outside the hobby.  It's where the cold-hard reality of my abilities are put to the test.  I seem so charming with providers (what a shock!).

I'm meeting an early thirties girl around 2:00, and she's willing to meet anywhere near an El stop, etc. (most likely north side).  My question:

What kind of place would you meet to get to know someone that time of day?  Starbucks is too cliche...need something more intimate and sexy.  A bar at 2?  That seems a bit too 22-years old.

I really am clueless on this one.  Appreciate any help here or through PM.

It's more casual and quicker than lunch.  
Or, an indie coffee shop/sandwich shop. Starbucks isn't the only coffee shop, ya know.
