Especially the small washcloths, lol.  

The washcloths & hand towels aren't expensive so I just get rid of them later.  
I don't usually bring bath-towels with me unless I'm going to be entertaining in that room for more than 2 days... then, I'll bring a few.

I try to bring some with me - you can buy some relatively inexpensive washcloths that are easy to carry with you.  If I have early morning appointments I will see if I can swipe a few extras from the maid's cart as well  The safest way is carrying a few with you, and then you can take them with you and throw them away.

I can honestly say, I have not swiped from the housekeeping cart. Ahehehe. I would think

I have seen clients swipe towels from the cart, and I fall out laughing. They don't want a wet bed after NURU.

Bring your own to be discreet

I will usually have a pack of Summer's Eve in my briefcase or pocket for clean up. Only now did I become aware of how difficult the towel situation could be for the provider when hosting. I've had one provider I met in a suburb hotel that kept getting calls from housekeeping if she needed more towels so I wasn't sure if  those were sincere queries or a way to harass her that they know that she was hosting?! Fortunately nothing bad happened. But if you want to stay discreet perhaps bringing your own towel is a good idea. Think of it as a Chicago thing--BYOT is the new BYOB lol!{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252

... if I think i'm going to see a 3rd to be on the safe side I really just grab a few when housekeeping on my floor isn't looking or go to another floor and do that.  
You can bring a few extra towels too.  
I'm not at all against utilizing the hotel's laundry facilities either to wash towels or bedsheets (to have time to do that I also don't/won't book dates close together either).

Whether I'm staying to work or staying for personal reasons I always just ask for more towels because they never give enough in general whether your working or not. And its not suspicious to do that ppl ask all the time. If there's a cart in the hall I've snagged those as well and that's usually not for work buy just to stay in general.
