Hi everyone!  I figure that since everyone has been so nice thus far, I would ask if anyone knows of any decently priced restaurants around O'hare that offer Gluten Free foods...or maybe even a bakery?  BBQ would be nice, but the fries tend to be dipped in the same fryer as fish and other breaded items. :

Thanks!  Though I ask mainly because I have a serious allergy to it.  A crumb of bread, or lotion with a wheat component will cause a severe enough reaction that may require some serious rest and recuperation time. :)

Many restaurants have a gluten free menu, or they note the gluten free items on their regular menus these days.  I am mostly gluten free and I just order whatever I'm having as grilled/broiled/sauteed in olive oil with no sauces or butter, spices are fine.

Gluten free is fairly common these days so it really shouldn't be an issue.

Gibson's in Rosemont will prepare most anything anything you want gluten free if you talk to the waiter. Also in Rosemont, the restaurant in the Hilton (Liberty Tavern) has an awesome gluten free selection.  I have a severely celiac family member so feel free to PM me for suggestions in the O'Hare, Schaumburg, and Oak Brook areas.

I have recently had to go gluten free and I found three restaurants semi close to O'hare that do a pretty good job.

Wildfire has a large gluten free menu and whole separate gluten free kitchen.

Season 52 has a good selection of gluten free foods

My favorite is Egg Harbor Cafe.  Some of the best gluten free breakfast foods I have ever had.

Hope this helps.
