Thanks for the wake up call. I'll probably be requesting those when I go to NYC next week. One I particularly want to steer clear of.

HAHA! I love the attitude and I got a great laugh out of your post, but if I can just present a more reasonable "or not to be" reply it would go something like this...... and this is coming from someone who shares my TER handle if requested........
1) It's not to avoid BSC girls as some have stated in the past. While I'm sure they exist (I have yet to encounter), keeping most information private is just an extra way of keeping safe in the hobby. I'm sure you would balk at the request of writing down your yelp user name before visiting a restaurant.
2) It's not that we don't trust you, but it's just a game of odds that something might happen to the (confidential) information we provide. How secure is your e-mail? Do you keep the "save my password" checked on your laptop? How do you store my name in your phone? If a site hacked or if a provider laptop is stolen, now I have my full name linked with my TER handle with detailed reviews that might be shared with the world.
I can keep writing. For example, peer pressure when writing reviews is very real. But I just wanted to present those two points. It's not an "us vs them" mentality. It's not about hiding behind a TER handle and posting sub-standard scores. For me, it's just about limiting the amount of information that will be floating in the world forever. If it can be avoided, sharing less is always the safest route. If the service suffers a little because the provider doesn't know a few of my kinks and preferences, so be it. The most important thing for most of us is remaining anonymous. Please don't take it as a offense.
