Hi all,

I'm curious to know if anyone has posted a bad review only to have the provider retaliate in some way. I'd like to post one, but knowing she has my personal info (and also reads and posts on the provider board, I'm sure) makes me a bit nervous.

Just remember anything you write about a lady is solely reflective on yourself. Since there is no retort to the ladies accounting of the situation. If you are descriptive it can be used against you if there is ever a bust by le.
My mother always told me if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all

Yes, LE will use a review and go all out to get a misdemeanor arrest of a john.  Come on.  I've never heard of anyone getting arrested solely because they wrote a review.  There would have to be a lot more evidence to get someone busted.

I appreciate it when guys write negative reviews that stick to the facts and are not petty/spiteful.  They help guys save money and steer them to ladies that are excellent.

Met with a provider a few years ago and it was a great appointment. She was absolutely beautiful, did Everything on her review menu at least once, some twice. But, she was only with me 35, MAYBE 40 minutes.

Knowing that I couldn't change the stats from her original review about staying the entire time, I knocked her down a point for performance.

Once the review was posted I got some NASTY emails. It was going to hurt her business etc. Knowing she had my personal info, I contacted Admin. and had the score bumped up. Again her performance was never in question, just length of appointment.

Still, bottom line to me was this woman had a Lot of power over me, knowing my real name etc.

You do what you think is best (we really need bad reviews to let us know what Not to do), but I wouldn't blame you if you just didn't write one. Let the guys with no worries take the chances. I'm very grateful to them, just not in that position.

Before you write that review, I hope you know her personality and if she's one of those girls who's competing for the TER top 10. Some providers are notoriously competitive and will do anything to protect their reputations so think twice about what you're writiing and whether having your personal info outed would destroy you. If you're single and don't care what your friends or family think about you seeing hookers, go for it. The rest of us exercise a great deal of discretion.

This is exactly my concern. Kind of defeats the purpose of TER if every review is 8/8 or above. But it is what it is.

really doesn't affect the rating for providers with numerous reviews .  A spiteful provider should also be aware that she has as much or  More to lose if she chooses to make things difficult for the reviewer  ... just my .02

If you're worried about retaliation, wait 3 months and then write a review under an alias.  Chances are she won't know who you are.  If she contacts you asking if you were the one who wrote the review, deny, deny, deny.  Good luck.

was to give out your ter handle to the provider. Never do that unless you have met her at least once.
The suggestion of a review under and alias is nice. But I'd suggest you just move on and consider the experience a lesson learned.

Who said I gave her my TER handle? She'll know she has a new review, and she'll know who it was based on the review's content.

If they get mad they get mad... Don't be so paranoid that there will be retaliation ... Not all just sit around plotting to get even, who has time for that???

I agree.  You are basically writing a great, positive review, but with the addition of the fact that your time was cut short due to something as a YMMV thing  or maybe she didn't feel well, etc.  By saying it nicely, but mentioning it, you sooth the criticism but let us guys know that our time might get shorted if we booked with her.  Coincidentally, this provider might take stock of this and get her act together for future clients.  a win win.

I'm not sure that that's very fair advice. I pay for VIP just so I can read a gentleman's reviews (if he writes them, of course) prior to setting a date. Most of the time it's so I can get a feel for his personality ahead of time to see if we would be compatible. There have been a couple of occasions where I've declined date requests based on what the gentleman in question had written in his previous reviews (for example: "she said she didn't like when I did xyz but I think she did so I kept doing it" Yeah, no thanks). By that same token, I've been able to tailor some dates specifically to clients' preferences based on what I read in their reviews (for example, "she was wearing black stockings, my favorite..." or "I'm a guy who can't get enough eye contact..."). Withholding that kind of information isn't going to sit well with a lot of ladies because it indicates that the potential client may have something to hide, plus it's just useful information during screening and when preparing for a date.

That said, I can't imagine the benefit of retaliating against a client for a sub-par review. Seems like the fallout from that kind of behavior would be WAY more detrimental to a lady's business than a not-so-glowing review.

but I was thinking of safety first. I personally give out my TER handle before meeting but only after I have researched the lady enough. Not gone wrong yet.
