On a related note I have also seen more providers increasing their minimum time to 1.5 hrs or 2hrs  which to me has a similar effect as just raising the donation.  So for example I see some ladies who used to have a 1hr option, but now have a 1.5 hr minimum for $1000.   Which mathematically would be about 675/hour but the 1 hour is not even an option anymore. Hahah.  So is this just a clever way to raise the hourly rate or do you guys experience more in a 90 minute session than 1hr?  I honestly have not done 90min or 2hr sessions so wondering if it is worth jumping on this new trend???  For now I am just sticking to those who still offer 1 hr but seems like fewer all the time .

Yup.  "... a longer date gives us a chance to know one another ..." is just a pricing mechanism to get more money.  The more who are willing will perpetuate the concept.  The less who are willing will only end it.  In simple words, it's all supply and demand.  Once it is a legalized (like 420), the ladies with the high rates and 1.5 or 2 hr. minimums will see their rates fall to the basement.

I review an advertisement and if the provider has a policy that I don’t like,  I move on.  I will not leave an electronic footprint on any payment.  Too many things can go really bad fast.  I have no problem skipping to the next ad.  And, I always make sure I have a lady on regular status.

I’m a big fan of the 1.5-2hr date for the reasons stated. I’ve experienced the 60 min date and there are still plenty of providers offering that, but I have much more fun spending an hour or so just talking and getting to know one another before moving on. I have my first multi-hour dinner date scheduled in a few weeks and am beyond giddy for it.  

Who doesn't want a longer date?  But what I think you and Jezebel are conflating is the additional time with the cost of the additional time.  Moving from 1 hr to 3 hrs at the same price per hour makes no sense.  When a provider is laying in bed next to you in a moment of passion, her time many be worth X dollars.  But when she is fixing her hair before you get there in prep for the date or when she is having a glass of wine with you to get to know you, she worth's worth 1/10 X or some other far lower value.  That's the issue.  Providers want to be paid the same rate per hour and it makes no sense.  Are you be willing to tack on an extra hour to the date at the same rate for her to Uber home?  I'm sure any provider would love it, and of course, certainly appreciate it.  lol

I had one or maybe two that were fairly regular over several years. Now both are at least semi-retired which is already becoming an issue as far as getting verified is concerned. I do believe that both of their email addresses are active. I would think that most are wary of giving employment information for fear that it might cost them their jobs if found out. But it is for companionship and you know what should be a sideline if it does occur. This for our protection.

There are, however, down sides. One of the biggies is: how many can really afford these rates since it is a luxury and necessities need to be taken care of first. What to me really doesn’t make sense is that so many have raised their rates at a time when so many have struggled due to the pandemic and the nature of things in general. Unlike many in this society I have a healthy respect for escorts yet many practices are making it harder for a man of more modest means like myself to be able to see them. Have chosen to stick to my guns and not work with those who demand deposits. When I first discovered this site now nearly two decades ago nobody I reached out to demanded a deposit and rates were certainly more reasonable. I fear that some might end up pricing themselves right out of business.

Makes sense, but we’re talking about two different things. Sounds like you are talking about an escort and paying for an orgasm. I am talking about a companion and paying for an experience, and everything that comes with that experience (fixing hair, as you say). I think, as times progress, we will see more providers offering a companion experience as opposed to just sex.

I think the best solution is to find the lady and experience to match your expectations. Don't rail against $1000/hr or three hour minimums if that's not what you want. Find an experience and price that works for you and enjoy it.
