I want to know more about this review thing. I do first and foremost understand why it is wanted by many. But I'm confused on, the few guys I've seen since I've started back in mid-december, don't do reviews. How do I get reviews, when I am contacted I am told I need to see more photos, since I don't have enough photos, or they feel like they are taking a gamble.
How do I get reviews, since I honestly need them to grow in this business?I am in the same boat- I've been at this for months and none of my clients are even on here. Now that I'm on here every message I receive asks about my lack of reviews. Not sure how to get through this rut if no one TOFTT anymore.
Very nice website! Perhaps we might get together when I visit in the Spring.
Advertise here regularly and you'll get more people who write TER reviews. Where do you currently advertise? Do you have a website?
I advertise on Eros and yes I do have a website. I will try and advertise here more also. thank you for that tip
If you want reviews I would say make sure to post on the ad board every week (maybe even do a special if you wanted) and post on the photo board everyday and join in on conversations as much as possible. Dont stress you will get one soon enough! it's possible to get great business without reviews in the mean time. If your not on twitter i would recommend getting active on there, there's so many great clients on there! Also just take the time in your down time to perfect your website,pics,advertising,etc..... No worries they will come! (slight pun intended) lol
Advertising here is a great bet. Do it on a regular basis. Perhaps offer some kind of incentive for a review? I can only speak for myself, but I imagine people only review a lady if it is a really good or really bad time. Do you do anything to differentiate yourself from other ladies? A signature move perhaps? Anything that would stick in a clients' memory? I know that's vague but, remember we have a lot of options in a big city like Chicago. Sticking out can be tough! Do you have a website? Pictures? A screening form?
Good luck!
TER just updated the review standards, so be sure you take a look at them.
Also take particular note of section #8. Offering specials for reviews is in section #13. Lots has changed!
Got it.
Offering a special without a review discount could be a way to attract people who post here, who are also likely to leave reviews was what I was getting at. It doesn't even have to be a discount, really. I often see ladies running specials that are not any different than their normal rates. A little marketing doesn't hurt.

Reviews are helpful, that is for sure! I know this is long, sorry.
But here is my experience, it could help you maybe.
When I first started I didnt even know TER/reviews was a thing. For real. I was on my 5th session before someone mentioned I didn't have reviews.
If you have a proper website, proper pics and a selfie with your name and date on it, you should be fine booking. I recommend getting a provider friend or two to link with, it also shows your real.
Don't sweat the review guys - focus on the others. Because reviews will come, and guys who ask where they are know damn well there aren't any and are looking for a discount or to hold it over you. THEY SUCK. But here is another issue:
When I found out reviews were a thing, I asked some of my regs if they ever left any - and yes, some were members here. They didn't leave reviews because they didn't want to deal with others blocking my availability. THIS IS A VERY VERY REAL THING. One of my gf's books her ass off, she has only a few reviews. Same thing: guys dont want to share.
When I joined TER, I had men who post on this board reach out and offer to see me/promote me here on the chicago discussion board if I saw them for half or free. I still see the pattern, cause I see them on here and their 10/10 or 9/9 reviews of others. AVOID THEM THEY ALSO SUCK. I have heard from others who took them up on it the thumb they are now under.
Don't give discounts for reviews - smart, nice clients know to AVOID gals who do this. They know the reviews are not accurate. You will lose out on the kind of clients you want. Also, have fun when they strong arm you for stuff you dont do in session and lord over you the whole: YOU WANT A GOOD REVIEW RIGHT? I HAVE A LOT OF PULL ON TER b.s.
This is NOT TER's fault, people try to game the system. They do try to stop it, it just is a lot to deal with between the gals and the guys. Reviews do make a difference, but it pays off to do it the right way. Trust me on this. Get authentic reviews. Don't give discounts for them.
When I read about review score manipulation, its not always the ladies. The guys actively seek out discounts for reviews and will say anything to get that 50 bucks off, lmao.
Just keep being you, if your not booking try different marketing / advertising places. The reviews will come, and you dont need a lot of them!
HANG IN THERE
I hate that guys go out of their way to ask girls for discounts in exchange for "fluffed" reviews, it's not fair for the girls or fellow hobbyists.
Thank you for that! Great read & great response!
I will do the selfie with my name and date on it ! I'm going to try different marketing
A nice guy will come around and write a nice review.
Definitely do an ad on the Chicago ad board, under regional ads. Use imagecoast.com to load a picture URL.
Then link your website. You can do ads every 7 days.
But I definitely wouldn't do any discount for reviews. It attracts a certain type.

Just keep at it! Honestly I don't know how many leave reviews, but I leave one for each and every provider I see since I think it's my way of giving back to the community, encouraging positive interactions, and reinforcing good relationships between providers and clients.
However, I do know that it is quite the hassle (much of TER's process for leaving a review is tiresome and long, such as the lack of default selections) so I do often put it off for a couple of days. So I can see how many would be too lazy to sit down and write, even if they wanted to help.
As someone who's always on the hunt for interesting providers, the following are probably (in order) the most important for me:
1) Age/race/body type/etc.
2) Services offered
3) REVIEWS (nothing bad), at least 2 or 3 hopefully, since I do not generally take risks)
Photos generally don't even come into the equation, since the amount of touchup and lighting options hardly give a good impression. Popular opinion, selfies with face (though only a minority of providers show face freely), and videos (if featured on personal websites) are best for "showing off" in my opinion. For many, that's enough to go on if they see a great photo. For me, a good look doesn't just cut it, but verified services do, so that's where I have to rely on my fellow hobbyists to review.
Hope that helps!
Do not believe the hype...you need reviews..
They are nice to have...shows you are real. And shows your services.
The post above from Hologic pretty much said it all
I'm new to the scene myself and I've seen 5 providers. I reviewed only one, because I felt the other reviews were way off on the looks of the provider. A good amount of the girls I've seen have plenty of reviews so I don't feel the need to add a review. If I did see someone though that had little or no reviews and it was awesome, I would leave them a review.
As stated though previously in the thread, if guys do find a good one with no reviews, some of us like to try and keep them all to ourselves. If you get a guy who reaches out to you on TER, maybe at the end of the session you could mention that if he enjoyed his time to leave a review. That wouldn't bother me if I was asked that. How quick would I be to do it, well that wouldn't be a guarantee. As others stated the review process is tedious.
So that's my 2 cents, hopefully some of that helps, good luck to you.
How do I get reviews, since I honestly need them to grow in this business?
By now, I've only reviewed a small fraction of the ladies I've seen. Pretty much slowly tapered off and stopped doing reviews a little while ago. Why?
1) After the initial rush of entering the hobby and getting first-handedly familiarized with its transactions, it's just felt weirder for me to publicly post about private stuff between two people.
2) The vast majority of providers I see now already have loads and loads of raving reviews, so my sharing of intimate details doesn't seem to provide any incremental benefit to neither the provider, nor the client who likely isn't going to read through dozens of reviews.
I think posting more here, specifically ads, is solid advice, as it just makes sense to be active on the very platform you're trying to become more established on.
Although, this might just be me personally, and no one in this thread has mentioned it yet, but I feel that a gentle mentioning or request at the end of a good session would help make a gentleman feel compelled to leave a nice review. I honestly feel that if a lady I knew was less established told me at the end, "I'm working really hard and doing everything I can to gain some traction, and if you happen to leave me a review it would really help me out," I'd definitely be happy to do so.
Aside from the site rules, I agree that offering discounts or other incentives in return for reviews likely attracts a less desirable crowd. Anyone who feels like they need to "use every chip they have" to absolutely maximize things for themselves by trying to get something out of leaving you a review is probably not worth it.
TL;DR - don't offer discounts, post on TER, be patient and maybe ask nicely for a review at the end of a good session.
