A while back I posted about a weight loss goal (not so specific to weight but how I look and how clothes fit) with the big reward being time with a provider. Well I was expecting to be at the goal now, unfortunately only 3/4 of the way.  Little setbacks (a lot of entertaining at LG, 'Hawks games, etc.), so I'm back to being focused.  So I thought I might up the reward to stay focused.

I'm not trying to do an "ISO" , just wondering if after an introduction (locally) over coffee or otherwise (RS2K, references) , a provider may consider an overnight on Geneva Lake with transportation both ways (Embarque or other similar). Time/travel of course being considered.

Stay focused on your goals hunny and good luck.

I know how hard it can be when you're 3/4 of the way there. It's like you're almost to the point where you can relax a *little* bit (want to and do) and keep just missing that goal weight. You get close, decide to have a little fun and before you know it the 2 or so pounds you just took off is right back on. lol!

I was a group fitness instructor for 6 years in NYC and had always worked out before that on a regular basis. My body was pretty much near perfect. I had NO idea what it was like for people who were trying to lose weight and I used to turn my nose up at people who couldn't "take the weight off". WELL - not anymore!!!! I moved to Florida, started a brick and mortar business and had the schedule of a full time civilian. How easily the pounds put themselves together! Before I knew it I was the heaviest I've ever been and was "struggling to take the weight off".  I finally found my way back with a lot of diligence, skipped nights out, eating right, bike rides, trampoline jumping, long walks and weight training. I have a few tricks up my sleeve if you'd like to PM me. I'll be in Chicago in a few weeks. Maybe I can give you a personal training session. ; )

Weight loss is tough but you are finding what works for you and staying the course! Congrats!

I also wish you well on your reduction quest, with one bit of advise.

First of all, I too went on a weight loss campaign a year and a half ago and took off 25/lbs. It was for personal reasons (getting off meds--I now am off them all) but also to look better and perform better for the ladies and for myself. I have kept the weight off.

My advise is:  Yes, have a goal, but do not prepare to party after the goal is reached.  Think of this as a LIFESTYLE change, not a DIET.  A diet implies an end.  A lifestyle change does not.  Once you reach your goal, party once in a while, but keep your petal to the metal and keep the weight off and if you need motivation, think about how much more fun you will have with the wonderful ladies we meet here.

Good luck!
