Raleigh enjoys a vibrant and pretty hip downtown area. Great art community here. Actually has a nice theater scene. The Carolina ballet is surprisingly good. And the restaurants.....yum yum

Uhhhh, I would advise avoiding Carolina wines. but if you like beer you are gonna love many of the local mico brews
