I have heard that during election years lobbying slows down but it seems to have stopped in the Columbia Sc area. Now I do not know what the market is like for touring ladies but there have not been as many lately. Am I missing something? Is there anything as a hobbyist I can do?

is spot on.  I, too, have noticed the considerable decrease in reputable touring ladies visiting Columbia, SC.  Prior to now, I had not considered the impact that the election season may be having on the on-going drought.  For what it's worth, these droughts seems to be common for our area, although, I really wish that it weren't.
