up at exit 85 or 86 on I-85 near Salisbury in the 90's, but then it turned into a jack shack and I believe its now closed. There was also one east of Charlotte about 75 miles that operated out of a bar with motel rooms out back, but dont remember the exact location.
This was before Terri's (which is now at exit 70) It was at a big truck stop, which had a jack shack in a run down house trailer, and then the cat house which was in what looked like a bar.
Not too far from where Teri's is at there was a restaurant, I think it was the Top Of The Hill. The dirt road alongside of the restaurant when up to a single-wide. That was a low-rent brothel. I went in there once, saw the talent and never returned.
The other one in that area was near a place called End of The Line.
Danimal, you're bringing back memories of when there was at least one every 20 to 30 miles up and down 85 and 95. Once you found one, someone in there would tell you about another. Most of them were clean, relatively safe and many of the ladies were quite attractive.
The all-time classic was Buddy Truckers Motel outside if Bennettsville, SC. It was there forever and everybody around there knew it was there. They rotated a different crew in every few weeks.
Over time all the good ones were shut down.

As for this topic, the few "brothels" I've heard of around Charlotte are long gone. Even the most recent was about 3 years ago and it was more likely that you'd get robbed than have any fun. I like the suggestion of a short-term rental and having a party.
The few that do exist legally in Nevada are being hit by the economy, and the few news outlets that reported on it had to put their spin on it claiming these women had mental issues, forced to work there, on drugs, etc. Why couldn't they be honest and just tell it like it is? With 2 local large businesses closing doors, it just cut into their bottom line, and let it be?
Anyway, I am back among the living and back to finding a new regular companion.
