I can't speak for any providers in the Carolinas.

For most but maybe a select few are still doing well.  I still do not believe the economy has perked up as well as it should have.  That means considerably less disposable income.  In addition, it has become apparent that rates have gone up dramatically (I see some visiting providers whose rates are ridiculous).  Even though everyone is free to set rates as they see fit there does become a line at which the value diminishes a great deal for all that has to occur for a date to take place.  In addition the appeal wears off.  Combining all these factors makes it easier to find other outlets and alternatives to fun.
