Krystal, you are going to get lots of good advice from these ladies... and ladies, keep on taking care of her because she is a real sweetheart, and working very hard to bring herself up to a smart and safe "VIP" level (whatever that means, lol).

There are a number of real basic things you can do, like getting his real name/phone number/ email or physical address, and googling them to see if he is telling the truth, and just studying the hits that you get. There are blacklist sites (that I'm sure some ladies will help you with) that may tell you if he is a bullshitter, time-waster, cheapskate, bully, etc, etc, etc.

P411, date-check. RS2K are verification sites that will have verified him to at least some extent (real identity, provider references, etc). Again, hopefully some providers will have opinions for you about exactly what these sites do for you and which work best in this area.

Regular provider references - it seems that many ladies require two - are great (as long as the providers are reputable, and reference-friendly) because they can tell you some specifics about the guy. It's a good idea that you suggest to a guy that he ask the providers first if they are willing to give references, that way you don't have to deal with a lady who won't answer your request, or gets annoyed, or whatever.

Ideally you want to find a verification system that works fairly quickly and fits your needs - you don't want to hold up a date because your checks are taking a week to come back. And if you do want to take same-day or next-day appointments (I'm not suggesting that you DO or DON'T) you need to figure out a quick way to at least ensure your safety. Maybe some ladies who do this will chime in?
