OK - one last post and then I'll go lurk for the rest of the day or so as Aubrey Jo suggested since I'm a newbie. . .

Anyway, having spent a couple days on the board and reviewing posts and reading about the ladies in the area- I'm VERY impressed!!  I'm excited about all the great ladies that I'm sure I'll meet over time and the board seems very friendly (in general).

Hobbylover2, I saw where you have one review posted so I would assume you have VIP but maybe not?? In any case if you get VIP and can PM me I will be glad to share some do's, don'ts that may keep you from getting the cold shoulder here in the sunny south.

We all should be glad you have such enthuasim but we southerners tend to be a little put off when someone is too overbearing. I know AubryJo and she is a class act all the way. I've seen her and she is great in every way. She is hanging with two of my other fav's in the middle of this week as well.

So post all you want but sometimes it's best to go a little easy at first!!

You might want to post on the newbie boards and general board so more folks will get to know you so that when you do post on the Carolina board you might be more readily accepted!!

I'm from Chicago, but I live here in North Carolina, Raleigh, Durham Chapel Hill.

Let me add a few things here.
Not everyone reads the General Board and the Newbie board. In fact I suggested to Aubrey that she might want to read it and participate.(The General Board)
We do have a few members that read a lot of boards and are active on all of them. Not all of us would be so put off by your enthusiasm  or believe you to be overbearing.

I myself learned a lesson just a few weeks ago. Yep. I'm almost 53 and I still learn. I was bantering with a member, who had no reviews. I didn't think he was a member. But he was. And a Gentleman. I was a bit overbearing with him because I thought he was just another alias.
I guess the moral of my story is this. Don't presume anything in this hobby. Just because a guy only has one review or no reviews does not mean he is a newbie. And please don't presume I am a Southerner just because my name is Sexy Carolina. You can however, assume I am charming!!

And of course, welcome to the Board. I'm sure you will notice quickly that there are many (ladies & gents) willing to help out, newbie or not...

HL2... if you haven't done it already, I suggest you get VIP ASAP and check out the newbie board as suggested by DB8.

Let us know where in the Carolinas you'll be playing at (RTP, Triad, Asheville, CLT, GSP, Columbia, Aiken/Augusta GA, MB/Chas). It'll greatly influence how we respond to questions pertaining 'recommendations'...

My territory covers both Carolinas, with my focus on the major markets.  Thanks for the suggestions.

I usually lock my schedule in 30 days in advance near the middle of each month for the following month, then start my hobby planning!!

But I'll welcome you to the board again, lol! I still have NO clue as to where you are in the Carolinas...
