It is rather one of those things...

that puts things into perspective, isn't it?
That we sit & worry about our mundane American lives.  
We complain about the things that are shiny that we can not afford, about the drama among friends & hobbiest, about our cars or houses, or if the weather doesn't suit us, we whine...  
But at the bare minimum, we do not have to worry about groups of mercenaries kidnapping our kids or other lady friends and making the captives to torture, rape, and murder.
We are truly fortunate to be in our shoes and not those poor girls.
It is truly horrifying.

My prayers for them as well.
