I opened an e-mail this morning that, for me, was cringe worthy. The potential client referred to me as a MILF....OUCH. I have never had children. I don't feel my body looks like it has ever carried a baby and given birth. Truthfully, I don't even like kids. I don't.  Being called a MILF is a real insult for me. Luckily, the term MILF doesn't bother me for the following reasons. #1 I always wanted a baby, but wasn't able to have one #2 I had a baby and it died at a young age (and yes, I do know a provider who lost and baby and was so traumatized she never tried to have another).  

Please be careful who you call a MILF. For me it's just an insult. For others it could  an incredibly painful reminder

I just turned 30 and feeling a little bit touchy about it.  I've had a few late teen/early twenties types message and say that they've always wanted to be with an "older" or "mature" woman...I chastise them saying that no woman who just turned 30 wants to be called older and mature.

I would like to add....Regarding the young men you were exchanging posts with...... When I was in my teens and younger, I thought 25 was like the next thing to death. Don't be offended. Many teens feel like there is little difference between 25 and 85. It's all like twilight years to them.

Yes you are right!  I do seem to remember while in college a friend was dating a 25 year old woman and we wondered why he was dating someone so "old'...goes to show age doesn't matter so much the older you get.

an older woman of 17, I was 14 at the time so 17 was seriously older than me.

Age is relative, Once upon a time I thought anyone even near 60 was so old as to be needing a walker and being put in the old folks home. Now that 60 is right around the corner my opinion has obviously changed a bit.

I do hate to tell you this though. Thirty is still about my "upper limit" where it comes to women. lol

I tell them I'm a MILF "prototype" 'cause the only child I've ever had a was my ex husband. :) A lot of true MILFS have bodies to die for and don't have that baby pooch, so try not to let it bother you if at all possible.

Sorry you had to go through "motherhood" with your ex. OMG! I'm laughing because I can relate!

Oh my gosh! Fur Babies! Fur babies are the best. When they are ready to leave, no attorneys have to get involved. They do return home frequently for a handout (nuts) but I kinds enjoy that :)
