As much time as I spend in the gym, I LOVE food, that's always been my problem! Craft beer and pizza sounds good too! Lots of awesome breweries have come up in Charlotte! And every time I'm in NYC I always go to Juniors for some cheesecake! YUM!!!!

It is just to easy to eat the wrong thing. All the artificial stuff in the food and all the growth hormones that they feed the animals we eat ...makes me want to eat grandma's cooking.

Sex is also a great aerobic . And on the plus side far less of a chance of developing a stress fracture . Just saying.

Exercise does not help much with weight loss.  See the recent Atlantic monthly article.

The more you exercise, the more efficient your body gets.  You might shift some fat to muscle, but
in terms of losing weight, not much.

The type of food you eat and when you eat it may matter as much as total calories

Exercise plays a huge part in weight loss. You can't ONLY eat right with no exercise to lose weight and you can't work out ONLY and then lose weight while eating bad.

You can't "outwork" a bad diet- meaning you can't eat bad and then go to the gym and "work it off". Best case scenario you'll not gain more weight. But you definitely won't loose it. You'll be stuck in limbo. Working for nothing really.

Lifting weights is good for EVERYONE. You'll build muscle and you'll also burn more calories ultimately when your body is later at rest. It's great for your metabolism.

The type of food you eat doesn't "may matter". It ABSOLUTELY matters. Again, you can't "out train" a bad diet. You can't cheat it. What you eat is everything. There's a reason it's said that "getting in shape" is 30% working out and %70 diet. The right combination of eating healthy and also sold good physical activity will absolutely make a difference!
