Also, if you are buying lingerie for your ATF, do you bring it on the day of your date or do you give it to her in advance?  That way she can wash it first, if she so chooses, and have it on when you arrive or put it on after you arrive?  Ever take an ATF shopping for lingerie to model before purchasing?

My favorite would have to be a nice baby doll with matching panties, combined with black thigh high stockings and high heels ...

As a former dancer, I must admit, I do sincerely miss the costuming & "playing dress up" aspect of it.
(And curses to whatever hooktard took off with my huge bag of outfits towards the end of my dancing stint.... May you rot in hell. .... Yes, I still haven't gotten over it. *sniff*)

 
What a woman typically prefers is dependent apon a few things, mostly (IMO)  
Body type- certain styles & cuts of lingerie will help enhance features or hide flaws.
(I know plenty of small boobied ladies that will only wear underwire, with push up padding.
Ladies with "mommy tummy" issues, who wear corsets strickly.
Ladies with cellulite who never take off their thigh highs/hose....)
And otherwise, ladies will wear whatever they feel enhances their best features.

While I try not to limit myself to "this or that" particular style (and even though I am certainly heavier now than I was when I was dancing/exercising 6 hours a day/shift) I still feel like I can rock whatever style and "feel" good about myself.
And yes, some brands are more infamous than others. Some do have more couture type stylings. And there are also companies that make "the look for less." (Hey, I know it is "uncool" for an escort to freely admit she is frugal, but I am! Proudly. I try not to be wasteful with my funds. I try to make a dollar go far... Pinch the dollar and make 105 pennies lol you know?)

There are also a lot of blogs for lingerie lovers.... Man the options!
Among the elite I would have to say, one of the fanciest I have seen is La Perla, and another French company that makes custom lingerie that is so pricey, there is no need to mention it. I think the quote was $800+ for a BRA.
