Lately I have been receiving multiple emails regarding setting up a appointment. And on multiple occassions, a prospect or client has tried to spin the whole "we are in a recession" covo regardin my rate.  I'm sorry, I look at it like this. Hobbying is not a necessity (well for some lol) its a luxury. I feel my rate I reasonably fair. Enough with the soapbox. Happy Friday!

....with " Hobbying is not a necessity". A must-have it's not and no one will make me feel bad for not being cheap enough for them.  I think our rates are about the same (hell I even offer a tiny discount for ter/p411/military/date-check etc on top of that) and  I'm a pretty nice person too and I couldn't care any less about the "i'm hurtin' can you help me out/it's a recession bs I get". There is nothing sexy about desperation especially from a MAN. I know it's a recession but I don't owe anyone any favors especially when I don't think my rates are all that high. When I travel to NC/SC I even keep my "home" rates.

Ditto. I asked this one hobbyist does he haggle the lady in the men's section in Macy's. He replied no ...and I said I rest my case. LOL

Anyone who has been with you, know that you are a class act ( have seen you two times). Maintain your standards; those who try to get you to lower your rates are not worth any consideration of  your time. They are deadbeats - forget them!
