I would like to apologize for being gone for awhile. I have had a lot of things happen in the past year and would like to explain some of it and to see if I am persona non grata around here. As some of you know, I do contract work....away from NC most of the time and I do not get vacation, sick time or bereavement. I get paid well for my work...but only if I am working. My abscence started last year when I had to cancel with a wonderfully supportive Carolina provider when my father-in-law died. Since then, I have lost 4 other family members, 2 uncles, a great-aunt and my grandmother. I have missed ALOT of work as well as spending alot of money going up and down the eastern seaboard to help arrange and attend. Money for me has been difficult so hobbying was out, as well as preffered membership here ( which I still don't have back quite yet as I wanted to see what me coming out produces ) so I apologize for not responding to PM's...I know I have 3,  but not who from. I have missed being part of this as well as having converstaions/PM's with many of you and am trying to get back in. I have had to set up new email account (as I forgot password for the old one due to disuse or old age...not sure which). As I was still fairly new when I disappeared, I'm not sure how this works so I fell back to what I thought was the right thing to do....an honest explanation and a request for forgiveness........

I am glad you are back.  My condolences on your loss.  But happy to see you are well, was concerned about ya. one of those pms are from this fugly guy, the rest I hope are from beautiful women.  The email problem explains that also.   Was wondering if you are still hanging round DC?

Getting older SUCKS, I mean I am wiser and all but DAMN!

Stuff don't work like it used to, less hair, more of a cute little belly
family sick and some died. My Dad has some serious diabetes and can
hardly walk, my Mom has early on-set alzheimers. Just SUCKS I tell ya!

So anyways, still can't quite see what you did in your post that calls for
forgiveness....so.....I forgive you...not that my opinion matters to you
but sincerely given just in case it does.

Degen, I'm sorry to hear about you losing so many family members, my heart goes out to you!

I too get paid only when I'm working and haven't since last April. I'm still not the person I used to be physically but working to get better. Some things will never be the same again. Not sure what my future will be... I was gone from here for almost a year, just started posting a little bit in the last few weeks.

This is a great community here so you have no worries!
