Great food, extensive wine list & amazing cocktails.

Bourbon Street..... Great food and atmosphere and the night crowd in there is awesome with great music. Genuine New Orleans food.

And I love Elijah's and The Pilot House. Both on the river and fantastic eats! The Oceanic on Wrightsville Beach is one of my favs as well.  

The weather will be MUCH better next week too,

As a Wilmington local, I recommend for dining.....

The Bluewater Waterfront Grill....It sits along the Intercoastal waterway of the Atlantic. They have indoor/ outdoor dining. Relaxing atmosphere.  

The George on the River....It sits along the Cape Fear River located Downtown in the Historical district.  Indoor/outdoor seating. Perfect for a sunset meal.  

Both offer a wide variety of menu choices including fresh and local seafood.

Shopping, I recommend Downtown along the river. Many unique shops to choose from for an afternoon stroll.  

Places to stay...I recommend a PM for them.

If you like sushi ect. Yosake. It's on 2nd floor and its greats. Love the spicy crab dip

Front Street brewery is good for local beer and American style food. Usually my group of friends meet there.  

Breakfast. Dixie grille and salt works 1 or 2

Great Martinis available as well! Downtown is the place to be, along the river, many little places to get lost and if you like osyters and clams and good beer. You can disappear or be seen whatever your preference!

Tons of options.  From the casual Wild Wings to the upscale port city chop house to the down and dirty diamonds to the great view of the oceanic.....
