This is probably spelled out in the policies somewhere but I thought I would ask anyway. Can other members, VIP or not, see the name on my profile? When I set up my account, I used a fake name for anonymity. As a basic member, I can't access others I'm sure. I have e-mailed providers that ask for TER usernames. I send them my real name and TER id but the names won't jive if they can see the profile. I have recently been ignored by one and I'm wodering if I scare them, they are super busy or they are just not interested. If I need to put my real name, should I worry about it?

All TER users see your "handle" and not your name. You should never give your birth name out to anyone.

If they ignore you, then ignore them and move on.

I require birth name during screening because I check DL. The only way to know your are actualy screening THAT person is to check ID. I dont worry about if you TER ID doesnt match your real name..and we can't see the info you signed up with on here anyways.

Yeah, I should have specified. I give my real name for screening purposes only. I feel better about the TER thing. I guess this person is "just not that into me". Funny though, they have great reviews, I think I've been very polite and we've never met. Oh well, like Tojan says, just move on...

Aubrey.  Maybe I misundestand but you check the name they give you on the phone (or email) to the name on the DL when they arrive -- you make them show the DL?  

What if the person uses an alias yet he checks out ok (via references) but has a different name on DL?

Ignoring emails & msgs is SOP for many. Either try again or just say "NEXT".

...that you're actually being ignored.

Spam folders aren't always our best friends.  Check them if you've contacted a provider and it's been a day or two.  

Just something I've noticed a time or two.
