After following advice I received from people on this board I upgraded my membership to VIP.  All I can say is WOW.  I was having fun doing what research I could as a basic member but now I am kicking myself in the ass for not upgrading sooner.  I read that some people are not doing their own research and all I can say is why?  Doing some research is fun, to read the reviews and get an idea of what a possible appointment may be like.  I'm having a blast!

Now I am building a small list of local provider's I may try to set up an appointment with.  Now all I need to do is find some time in my schedule to make a meet happen.  Doing all this research has made me identify my "crown jewel" a provider that I hope one day to meet up with, as soon as I meet her appointment requirements, it's on.

I was like that as well when I first got my membership. I am still VERY new but have managed to see 3 WONDERFUL Carolina ladies....( best in the world! ) It is completely amazing what you can find out with the full membership and setting your first appt is scary as all get-out...But worth it!
Good luck to ya....pick well and try not to be too nervous  ( I just about popped before I got started my first time....felt like I was 15 again losing my cherry for the first time all over again!! )
