I have been gone from Hobbywood for a while.  Even gave up VIP for a while.  You know, pretty weather and riding the byways.

BUT i got my status back and found a lot of PM's and I felt I needed to address something that has been occuring more than once in my hobby treks.

Gentlemen,  dont fall in love with your favorite provider.   She PLAYS a girlfriend, she really isnt.  And yes you may get flirted with and she may like you as a customer or even call you a friend.  Now not to talk out of school, but a gentleman that will remain nameless and doesnt post on the board, seems to have fallen for a provider.  If she is good at GFE then you will have a hard time determining that it is more an act than reality.  She is just good at the fantasy.  Remember there is an envelope, it may not be "Everything" to her but it is still part of the deal.  Now if she wants to have a meal, off the clock, she feels you a friend. Not a boyfriend just a friend and would like to sit and chat.  Dont take it as meaning more.

How can you tell if she is really interested?  She mentions that she would like to go on a civy date with you would be a good clue.  And being naked and there isnt an envelope might be a clue also.  Just because she lets you stay later than scheduled just means your luckey. Just because she says you are great in bed doesnt mean anything except you may be great in bed. Just because she says she enjoyed your visit mean she enjoyed your visit.  

To my friend, like I pmd you, you name is safe with me.  I think you have learnt your lesson.  But like a told you, a few dudes need to do a reality check and stay out of all that drama.  The results arent good. I hear too many times that someone loves someone, If you are going to fall, fall in lust !!!! Just have fun.  You want a real girl friend go to a dating site.

Thought that you were talking about me for a min)  I was just thrown under, not the "bus", but the thing that has one of those big round cement/metal? wheels on the front that crushes things FLAT! Needless to say, I was crushed to pieces meecies recently by a lil lady that ASKED me for help a year ago, and who I spent a year giving most of my donations to, helping her with bills, sudden emergencies,  finding friends who helped her out of her $ hole, etc. only to get a "Dear Bird......" email that shocked me to the core! Sorry, will not go into detail of those words she used in that email to make sure that, as she succinctly-put it---"DO NOT CONTACT ME ANY MORE!" And my reply was as Adele put it--"Never Mind, I will find somebody like you..." maybe(
Enjoy the attention, big eyes, sweet voice, etc. just guard your heart closely, or you may wind up with blood all over---as Roadie's pic depicts in his post) Geez!  Same thing happened to me in the 6th grade, so, you would think I would be able to see it coming by now---NOT!!!  LOL--moving on, but with fond memories of our time together, just not one of those happy endings that happen in the movies, fairy tales, etc.

Unlike the picture above, Ive never known a woman to keep your heart for longer than the few steps it takes to get away from you, what the picture doesnt show is the meat grinder/trash can/steam roller that she will feed it to as she leaves you and doesnt look back! LOL. To your friend: good luck man! It will get better, promise!

feel some familarty with this subject.  But I must confess something.  Sometimes its hard to keep emotions out of the hobby.  You just got to do a reality check on occasion

And Bird.  None of the ladies are exactly alike.  One may take advantage and another will be veru appreciative.  Just keep the big head in gear.

Great post Roadshow, totally agree with you. At the same time, same goes from some providers out there. Just because you take a liking to a gent and he may agree to see you out of the business after you ask, doesnt mean that he wants anything to go further than a good time. Trust me, it happens!! I am positive it is alot less than gents falling for providers but it does happen. Happened to me once in this world, never again . Its just not a good idea for most!! Things can get complicated and messy. Whoa.

So of course I am kinda heading against the grain! Imagine that!

Ok I get what you are saying Road, for the most part all they hobby romances I have observed over the years have worked out with both parties separate.

Ok so lets see, in our great country the divorce rate is 50%! Right? Now out of the 50% that are still married how many are MISERABLE? How many are staying together out of convenience, kids, finances, YADA YADA YADA!!!! Doe see doe!

So what does that mean? 80% or maybe as high as 90% of married folk are happy? Now remember I have NO CLUE, not really sure how many people are truly happy in their marriage. I am just trying to get a feel for it. I am very confident in saying that a % of the 50% who are married are there but not happy!

So if I go through my formative years right, live clean and good, sane, maybe get edumacated, get a job, keep clean especially under fingernails, find a woman, THE ONE in Sunday school class and she is a virgin, I am not but Hey I am a guy, we meet, we go a courting, we do not do the nasty until AFTER the wedding........AND after ALL that I have about at best a 80% and closer to 90% chance that in a few years I and she are going to be in constant emotional agony trying to figure out the best way I can back out of this HUGE mistake????? LOL Ok so now that I got out what I think you are saying, REALLY, I will say what I am thinking, REALLY.

I am thinking I do not see any harm in two people NO MATTER HOW THEY MET, that if they have a feeling they might want to do something different, take this here thing to a different level, whatever you want to call it, my response is WHY THE HELL NOT! Heck the chances of it working out is not any worse or any better than the people who do it traditionally the politically correct way.
So a resounding why not, lets roll!!!!!!!!!

So yeah, I am not aware of any hobby thang that turned into happily ever after but I do not know many couples who are married that are really happy with one another either. What is it all about Alphie? Wonder if he really knows and why is everyone always asking him???

Just goes show just cause it is traditional(organized religion) and lots of people swear by it doesn't mean it is anything a sane thinking person should EVER consider doing themselves.

Bottom line WHATVA made us it/he/she gave us all a brain and sometimes if we use it to think for ourselves it can end up helping us out!
