red light special

While there are a handful of Indy providers I have met with (most I have not reviewed) I have been getting emails/phone calls/ texts that say "hey, haven't seen you in a while, you should come see me" or something to that effect. While its not a  problem to be contacted and I appreciate the gesture, please do yourself a favor and add something like "I'll give you regular client special" to your campaign to drum up business.

I'm not trying to be cheap, nor do I expect a discount...but if you are going to send out "come see me" messages..add a coupon to it!  ;)

Other businesses contact me through email or regular mail and offer specials to get me to use their service. Maybe I'm just being to cynical.

Feel free to chime in

While I make it a rule to not reach out to my clients. Unless we are exceptionally close.. Sometimes I will reach out just to ask if you are ok.....

But If ever I say come see me after I have,  Duh........... Of course you get a small discount or something....

seriously, stop by the mercedes dealership and ask them email you the next time they have a "special". then hold your breath until it hits your inbox.Im a customer,  it's insulting to the companions in this industry to imply they need to offer a discount at all, when they are providing a quality service. Staying in touch with clients is smart business practice

I have to confess that I find it an enormous turn on if one reaches out to me (discretely).  Sometimes makes the difference who I see or whether I do.

"I love your wallet", that turns you on? I am sure that your wallet is flattered and flattened.

On the other hand, there's a difference between that and keeping in touch with regulars. I don't often reach out to clients, for the precise reason that I don't want to come off as one of "those" girls, but there are a few that I talk to quite often. And when I do, I don't even mention getting together. But it can certainly be business savvy as well as just flattering, to reach out to clients, absolutely! But for girls that need the business, then hey, you can always just delete their emails I guess!

solicitations from providers. If I want to see a provider I will call them. I prefer to have my phone # and email to be "lost" until I get the itch.

That excludes the providers that I regularly chat with who are not looking to book me tomorrow. There is a big difference.

Guess there's more to it for me than you.  Why not just self service and save the money altogether?

We are suppose to be discrete, how are you doing your job as a provider if you can't maintain that aspect of your job?  However I think it is also tacky to expect a discount just because that provider reached out to you.

Perhaps it's because I am not desperate and don't have to reply on P4P as my sole mode of sexual encounters.
Tell those providers that so turn you on by soliciting that you are broke and see how fast you become hornless.

are not taking many new clients right now, so they are reaching out to those they know who are safe. Not every piece of mail or commercial offers a coupon. Many high quality companies throw out a quick reminder, hey we are here.

Walmart is a high volume store and throws out coupons and deals left and right, and everyone uses them. Is that the type of provider you want to meet?

Not me, and I'm booking an appointment with one this weekend ;) Well deserved treat for me :)

I wonder, am I allowed to review a girl

How about a response that doesn't sound like your selling a service? Girls that use boards to agree with anything a hobbyist says has really got to analyze what they are doing. Marketing 101 - Constant contact. Hmm, the number one emailing service in the world is called, guess what, constant contact.

My marketing approach is a naughty picture of the week that includes my schedule - rarely does someone unsubscribe.

That's my pennies

Contact potential clients via email if I wasn't able to catch up with them at their initial request. My time management skills leave much to be desired and I'm usually overbooked in an all-consuming, everything in life way, i.e. school, other job, general personal business, effing school, school, and school (sorry classes just kicked back up, a little frustrated!), so unfortunately I often can't accommodate requests that are last minute. When my week is looking a little more manageable, I like to reach out to hobbyists who have shown interest in the recent past but who for whatever reason I couldn't see. I don't deem this entirely solicitous, or tacky, or lacking in discretion. While I do realize that many hobbyists usually make appointments when they get "the itch", and they are often spur of the moment, I like to follow-up/ check in to both make myself available and to let them know that they aren't just lost in a sea of emails. If they don't get back to me, NBD!

Its very common for people to advertise without offering a "coupon" or discount. Marketing does not necessarily require reducing your price. Its having your brand in front of the consumer as much as possible. Otherwise, every commercial on tv and radio would announce a discount. Although some do for a special event, most do not.

The bigger debate may be whether a provider should be calling a client without consent. You could be reducing your repeat and referral business with practices like that. I know I would NOT repeat if she called me out of the blue.

That's why you never store any contact info in your phone..... Use a secured hosted database.

Girls that do not know how to keep friend info safe, need to retire before they get everyone in trouble. Ignorance is no excuse (most laws say this in plain english)

Keep a database of regular clients, and send a BCC email or newsletter letting them know you're around.

I've heard clients complain about agencies saying "This is an offer that is exclusive to you..."

A good way to do it is,

"Hey all, you're BCC'd, don't worry, (always good to say to those who want to be discreet,)...

i decided to 'work' today and wanted to let you know I am available around the (name area) area today. Let me know if you're interested. My hours are blah time - blah time).

XOXO,

My Awesomeness"

(little jokes thrown in)

No discount needed, and you already know you're not texting someone who may not want to be texted. Also, keeping in mind your 'alluser' database is limited to those who don't mind being contacted at any time via email.

Just a suggestion.

XOXO,

Courtney
