Chemistry....

For me there just isn’t a substitute for it.  It’s either there or it isn’t.  Sometimes it occurs during a meeting at different times.  But what makes me ponder it today is recently I’ve had two meetings where it was just there from the moment I opened the door. (lucky me!) Not sure what causes it.  Maybe it was the mischievous twinkle in the eyes that implied of an underlying sexual chemistry.  Or perhaps the genuine smile whose warmth reached and resonated from behind his eyes each and every time he looked at me.  Maybe it was how easily we conversed or made each other laugh or the compliments so sincere they made me blush.  But there was definitely an “it factor” that existed long before we even began to explore the more in depth possibilities.   Don’t get me wrong, I’m not being “ga ga” or implying anything silly.  I’m not talking about “in love” sort of feelings.  I’m talking about a great chemistry that produces a certain comfort and de ja vu quality.  It makes you reflect and smile about the interlude and always leaves you anticipating the next.

Anticipation.  Mmmmmmm…now there’s a feeling I like to explore.  I’m not even going to get into that one or this “thought for the day”  may be never ending.  

So my wish today is that each and every one of you experience a meeting soon that provides great and unmistakable chemistry.

I prefer that it be a bit mischievious on occasion.  

Chemistry is crucial.  For me, it starts when someone expresses herself well, verbally or in writing.  So I'm feeling it already with you, Adalyn    Anticipating what the future may hold for us...
