As to CL; no, because the ladies I met on CL either had ads on other ad sites (i.e., Eros), had their own websites, and were TER-reviewed. I only saw one provider from CL that isn't TER-reviewed, but it was a good gamble. There have always been mystery ladies to be cautious of, and always will be. The only challenge I have now to to find time to see the ladies I want to see.
Atlanta (my home base) is a little tricky to work in anyway. We are over-saturated and more and more girls are coming into the business everyday. I am guessing we roughly have about 2,000 providers. Competition makes it very tough in Atlanta these days for a touring provider in Atlanta unless she is above average looks/performance with some awesome rates.
Atlanta has been hit very hard by the economy. Alot worse than most cities.
It took me almost 2 years before I felt like I had come to the end of the road with the TER Atlanta community. I think I have seen them all now, lol. All that wanted to see me anyway. Before the economy took a nose dive, they use to cycle through pretty quickly, and would see me again and again. That is not the case any longer.
I lost almost all my regulars with the economy. Some are just starting to come back around that I haven't heard from in a year. (Maybe things are looking up)
What I am doing to market myself is that I get new recent photos taken every other month, or so. I tend to look different every time my hair color or skin color changes. My weight has been known to go up or down 5-10 lbs. (depending on if I have been on vacation or working alot and not eating regularly) I got a new Ero's ad that marketed myself to Atlanta hobbyist that have never heard of TER. I was like the new girl again! Phone buzzing all day long. And I am looking into other cities to tour where I am, excuse the pun, fresh meat. lol

I have found the gentlemen who frequent the boards usually look for websites, reviews, ect when searching for a companion.
I market myself here on TER, Eros, and occasionally on Backpage.
The economy has affected my busniness somewhat, but I really don't think new ladies have impacted me at all.

CL has changed but I would not say it has met it's demise. It really depends on the city your in, for instance in Charlotte there are still plenty of women advertising there and while in Greenville there are hardly any providers at all on CL my phone stays ringing because of my ads in other places. Very few of my customers to my knowledge are from TER I enjoy the posts here but know I don't offer alot of the services members of this community expect so I would assume that if a bevy of "mystery women" attack the boards they would see a lack of response and it would not effect the established ladies.
To follow up on Madison's post, one of my regulars called me (cold) a few months ago. She said the economy in the Atl was so bad, she was calling her regulars and offering specials and discounts. I've seen her a couple of times since. One thing she hasn't done is expand her services offered.
I like your topic of the day post much better than being called a dolt or stupid redneck. If you really want to enliven the board that's a much better way to go than insulting and inciting others to insult back. But that is of course just my opinion!
That's where I got my first lesson in upselling, chalked it up to part of my education and never went back. CL in not dead, it's only different. I haven't really noticed any difference in the way I approach my playtime. The biggest changes that I've noticed around here, have been the influx of extremely rude posters. We've always had the occasional troll, and they've always gone away fairly quickly, but this time it was a little different. They all seemed to show up on the same day.
As far as the mystery women go, I say, bring 'em on. As always, some will be the ones to be cautious of, but there will be some that are pure gold.
I put adsup on lots of sites mainly free ones It can be costly to repost everyday on craigslist. I live in Las Vegas and it is still the same amount of women on the site but the problem is you have to post at 8 am if you want it up by noon the same day....It usually takes 3 or more hours to post. its crazy! How is cl in NC looked on there and it was kinda dry. is it considered bottom feeding out there. some states its kinda trashy but over here and california there are plenty of girls who still have excellent reviews.
