I had a situation that gave me the "Danger Will Rogers" flash. I'd like to get some different viewpoints...

No offense intended here, but you are a "middle aged white woman" How is "your type" not welcome there?  You are a woman and women can dress up or dress down for the occasion. Now if you were an 18 year old black girl with huge knockers in a mainly white, upscale neighborhood I could see your point, but you are white and almost certainly older than any of the hotel employees you might interact with. I can't imaging how your mere presence is going to raise any suspicion, unless of course you show up dressed like a streetwalker.

If you didn't feel comfortable with the situation, bailing out is the correct response, regardless of your reasoning.

I feel you are right Mr. Mike. When it was all going down, I was thinking to myself...you can stay  home and have a good nights sleep with your two pooches snuggled up against you....or you can risk venturing out and spend the night in a holding cell. I opted for the cozy bed with pooches

Your location is seriously the best I have witnessed. Only one other was a personal location but was an apt.  So secluded and private. I don't know how I haven't visited more often! 😀

Does sound like a great call on the cancel, but, I say you get back to screening like crazy....Like you did to me 10 years ago.  Put me through the wringer for 2 days....Was delighted when you invited me over.  Have enjoyed each visit since....caring for your own safety is caring for us also.

If things do not seem right and your "spidey senses" go off,  best to stay safe and cancel.  Just like we do our research to find a great lady, you should do your verification too...

You gotta be comfortable with the situation, so if you where not happy with the conditions then that is your call. I don't know if the blues brothers schedule that far in advance but it does seem a bit hinky, so you made a good call IMHO.

He did not give a reason as to why he didn't want to come over. He respectfully and assertively said no. That was when I offered to play taxi (which in itself could have been kinda kinky) and he didn't respond. That's when I realized his no meant "no". I didn't push it from there.

My spidey senses totally sounded the alarms! Wouldn't that suck? Getting busted for the holidays? The massive speeding ticket I got over the weekend was bad enough! Lol! I could wallpaper a small room with those suckers!

......why didn't you screen?  It's, like, core rules number one two and three. Right?  What vibe did you get that actually suggested you didn't need to check the client in any way?  Just curious.  Not judging.  

It could just be that simple. What the heck is ...ack? He sounded like he was on point, polite, did what he was supposed to do. Marie made the decision not to screen him. Then she had the Danger Will Robinson feeling. He declined because he didn't want to leave the convenience of his lovely accommodations.

And since so many golf outings are planned well in advance IMO that part is nit a red flag. Many of these trips are from out of state for a sort of golf junket. Heck I made the treck to just that kind of situation from a way out of state gent who booked me a month in advance. Of course I did check him out completely.

I kind of have my own screening process that has worked for me for 18 years (not a typo). The only truly "bad" appointments I've ever had were during my first year in the biz when I worked for two different agencies in Maryland

But wanting me to come to him? In my eyes it was not a discreet situation. Also...this is a super old southern hotel. It has back entrances for the staff.  I could easily get busted and then taken out the staff entrance .....and no one staying there would know. It's really a pretty nice set up for busting someone

Actually, her initial instincts to see him without verification are what got her into the decision jam.  She did the right thing in the end.  Not the beginning.

Most people know that the risk of a client getting busted on an outcall are negligible as LE almost never will send a female undercover into a situation where they don't "control the room" Some guys I know will ONLY do outcalls for that reason.

I loved my time doing an outcall there. And I'd love to see it decked out in it's holiday attire. It's simply breathtaking.
