From strictly the hobbyist' perspective, I agree that the reviews can be problematic.
Its not just as simple as I see you, and I leave an honest review. It could be that easy if you are not planning on seeing each other again, or if the session was a 10. Its the in-betweens that get dicey. If I leave a review that I think is fair, and the provider doesn't like it (7's) they may not want to see me again...so then my options are A) inflate the ratings/review B) don't post a review C) post the review as I see it, and hope the provider is willing to see me again.
In my experience I see the ladies being very focused on the numerical ratings (based on convos with multiple providers), whereas I could give 2 craps about the numbers. For me, the most important factors in a review are (in order).
1. (If I can see the VIP info) The services rendered (for example, CBJ only is a non-starter for me).
2. Recommendation/Would Repeat
For me, all the other factors are based on the provider herself (looks, cost, distance, availability, etc).
