A couple of times I have had providers with reviews showing all 9's or 10's who clearly manage their reviews.  When I wrote a less than perfect review of one which said that she was late but great I was barraged with emails and texts that demanded that I change the review because it ruined her rating (maybe I gave a 7 and explained why.) Another time I was asked to only write a review if it was a 10/10.  I had a great time but not a 10/10.  I don't want to disappoint providers and at the same time I want to be honest and not mislead hobbyists or what is the point of reviews and ratings. I see some reviewers give all 9's and 10's and they are not much help.

...I don't believe them. The walking away best provider I've ever been with (hi Breanna!) still has one or two les than stellar reviews. Not everyone likes the same things so it's essentially impossible that a lady won't meet SOMEONE that didn't quite click with them....

It seems as if this is all I hear about, I'm ALWAYS amazed at these women that have 9.5 and higher. I know for a fact that they "manage" their reviews and some even offer special favors. Now giving a woman an 8.5 instead of a 10 shouldn't hurt their feelings but giving a 5 instead of an 8 does seem to hurt. I can speak from experience, the gentleman seemed to have a good time with kind things to say with our time together then writes a terrible review....go figure? One can not think that ALOT of these reviews are "fake" because they may be written by someones pimp. agency or other dumb azz trying to pump up her rating or even destroy someone elses reputation. There will never be an accurate rating system apparently, just remember you can't always believe what you read and you should always make your own judgement upon somebody.  
What one must remember is to be your own person. What's most important is that you know a provider you going to see is legit and safe and even now you hear stories of sites,people that may be working with LE. Just use common sense and be Honest, if we all worried about doing something someone doesn't like, you would be walking on eggshells your entire life. I'm sure I'll be stepping on some more toes writing this but oh well. Why does a provider have to be limited on how high she can get because she doesn't do certain things??? If she met or exceeded your expectations and you would like to give her a 9 but they limit her rating to only a 7??? Hmm maybe it does bother me more than I think, maybe because I'm a woman of morals and have principals.

Any savvy client at this point knows that you have to ignore the numbers and actually read the reviews. I've read reviews that basically stated for the entire encounter, "got a good BBBJ, followed by nice conversation. Great girl, 10/10!" Now that's some review management.  

Disregarding the ones who are simply just trying to play the system, I wonder if this practice might ultimately be detrimental to the ones who truly give good service but still can't accept anything less than a top score. I for one am suspicious if there's no variation in the numbers.

I have experienced the same issue several times.  I find it irritating to say they least.  I feel you need to rate based on YOUR experience.  I removed one review all together and left the others.  I do not feel it is correct to change a honest review of your opinions based on a providers demands that it is not what they wanted.  It was never mean spirited or even a horrible review just not the " 9 " or "10" they wanted

There are some providers that have 9.5 averages and they are legit, I've seen a couple myself and happen to know they don't "manage reviews". I've seen a few others who have one or two reviews but I've learned to look at who does the reviews. If you see three "new" providers who all have one good review (usually a 7/7 so you don't expect them to do things they don't do) and those reviews are all from the same guy you tend to kinda know you're looking at fakes. But there's a limit on how much of that they can do since I'm fairly sure TER tracks the IP address a review is submitted from so you can't submit multiple reviews of the same girl. I've also learned that some of the reviewers in my area are reliable...maybe four or five.

This getting pressured by providers must be more of a big city issue. In Eastern North Carolina most providers don't even know where reviews get posted, much less what they say. I see ads all the time where providers say they are well reviewed but when asked where they basically say "um, where ever there are reviews?". They simply put that up because they see other (real providers) post that but don't realize they also include an ID. I do remember a girl a few years back who posted her ID in her ad but clearly hadn't actually seen the review (7/3)....

The brain is our biggest sex organ and if personalities don't click, then the most beautiful and talented lady may not have been the best selection.

I prefer mature ladies who are mature, with creative imaginations, and great communication skills.  After that comes beauty/body size/etc.

A few years ago I posted under a different handle and gave a less that stellar review to a highly (7 - 8) rated mature woman.  My ratings were around 5 and 5.  I was threatened by her with exposure else she will "out" me.  I let bygones be bygones and moved on, but I can tell she's still playing her games and some are giving in to her demands.

I really wish TER would change their review system. Even the narrative gets kinda old after awhile. Did she show up on time? Was she the girl in the ad? Did she deliver? Would you repeat? That's all I have to know.

I've been especially surprised at the lack of integrity on TER for the last several years, both regarding reviews and pics. we really have no one to blame except ourselves, if reviews are being bought with discounts from agencies or providers it defeats the real purpose of TER- honest information about our experience with a lady so that others can gain some information not available to people who are not willing to pay to belong. we should take the high road and be honest, a 10 is probably based on you absolutely hitting it off with the provider, but all 9/10 reviews are pretty suspicious, to me at least. the first thing i check is the reviewers history, if they never had a bad date i don't trust them. it's tough to give a lady a bad review but again we are paying for honest reviews. if she's got solid reviews and one not so good it was a bad night, bad guy, or whatever. do write less than great reviews, it helps us all, but don't trash anyone and don't expect us to trust you if they are all bad reviews- you are the problem! the catch is providers that won't see you if you do publish honest reviews- an alias can guard you from that kind of behavior- maybe i'm being dishonest?

i send a lot of PM because i don't really trust the integrity of the reviewers, ad even more s because i almost never trust the pics anymore.

Unless you are getting paid to be an author (other than free VIP) meaning, you are getting handed cash for your writings, then awarded royalties for how many times they are read,  hell with 'em!  However, if you are such a gentleman that you enjoy donating your time and efforts for your stories...keep on keeping on.  

A single review shouldnt mean so much.  I can see a lady making sure they are accurate and actually are real.  I really appreciate her ensuring that at least what is being said it true.  Some guys are a but mean spirited and have hidden agendas.  I look less at numbers and more for substance in a review.  I really dont care that she does 20 positions in 5 mins.  I would like to know more about who she is and if she is a good actress.  And the looks numbers are just numbers, hell we all like different things and the number he gives on looks is only his taste and how she matched up to it.  Just my 2 cent

While I do agree with you, nothing is more suspicious than a lady who has straight 10/10's, or dare I say even 9/10's. There is without a shadow of a doubt, that that lady has went through great (if not honest/dishonest) means to keep the scores so "perfect."
I also agree that it damages her integrity, the clients integrity as a reviewer, and yes, even the integrity of the whole scoring system. there-by ruining the relative scores of other scored providers (if another provider actually is more deserving of the 10's/9's, yet has an honest 7/7 score for that one off day, then she is there-by lower "ranked" than the other totally undeserving falsely scored provider, which is a shame.)
I also think that providers who demand 10/10's are little better than thugs.

My scores are pretty consistent, mostly, 8/9's, with a couple of 10's, and a couple 7's.  
I average somewhere at 8-8.5 I think.
If I have get another 7/7, yes, it will even drag my "average" down, while it is not the end-all-be-all, I will take it hard because I work my ass (and other lady bits) off to EARN and maintain my high average  score, and I do so every single appointment without fail, irregardless of if a man mentions he is a reviewer or is not known to be one...
If I go above & beyond, and a man gives me a 7/7, the looks score... well I can do little about his opinion of my looks at that given moment... fair enough.
But a 7 on performance?
Kind of like the fellow who booked an appointment again, who gave me a 7 on performance...
I know damned good & well that I went above & beyond the first time, so you reckon, in the idea of fairness, in my mind I gave a 10 if not 9 worth of effort the first go around...  you suppose I should only give him a "7" worth of effort this time? Since that is what he "thinks" my score should be?  

In my eyes, when I know I gave my all, yes, it is a bit hurtful that I got a 7.

Or how about the guy who reviewed me on another site and used a descriptive word that while, could be true, I found to be very hurtful (to my feelings, yes, I DO have feelings.)
I never let him know, because *I* want to maintain a professional standard- cussing him out would do neither of us a bit of good. (Don't think it hasn't crossed my mind... He tried to short me on donation, too. And a then a half-ass review? LOLOL And wants to re-book? Um, ignore.)

My only thought is this, when you give a lady a 7/7, and her average score is higher, and YOU will be dragging her score DOWN,  just .... please don't act like you are doing her any favors, and try to book again. (Hey did you see I reviewed yah? Ummmm... yeah....)
 Save those 7/7's for someone you don't want to see again... Just a thought.

FYI, I did re-book with 7/7 score-er, and no I did not mention my 7/7. As much as I care, I still do have SOME integrity.
The bad thing is, this is not just a "professional service" on our end, we are being critiqued for everything, with a numerical system... that has little integrity.  
I guess I would be more upset if I had an average of around 6 or 7, so I guess I won't complain too much!

I had a provider not schedule an appointment with me because I was not handing out 9's and 10's in all my previous reviews.  I told her that the reviews that I gave were honest and not far off from other reviews those providers had.  I guess if you don't always see providers that give 9/10 service and are honest, then you can't see that provider.  I thought of trying to make a deal and say that I would not write a review, but I just left it alone.  Plenty of wonderful ladies out there that won't give me this kind of grief.

If you feel the lady warranted a 7 then that's what you put. So what if she complains. Most likely she will still see you again. If not, so be it. There are hundreds of other opportunities for you to get your dick smooched by a pretty woman. Conversely, if you had a great session feel free to give a 9 or a 10. Just tell those Farkuses who whine about you overrating a lady to fuck off. They're not paying you thousands of dollars to review based on some fictitious generally accepted hobby standards.

I'm sure many newbies take the Top 100 rankings at face value and start there when trying to decide who to book. Hopefully they end up picking the legitimately high quality providers instead of the ones who just try to juke the stats.

When I first started in the hobby writing reviews seemed overwhelming.  I recapped the entire date almost act for act only because I was extremely excited about my new found hobby.  The lady was amazing and yes I probably rated her a 10/10 because it was an awesome experience.  Some of my reviews have not been 10/10 based off the date and nothing else.  I try to approach each date with an open mind without any expectations based off previous dates.  At any point during the date I start asking myself what is going on then most likely the date won't be rated very high but now if the date is flying by and I am having fun then yes the lady may get the highest score because it is based off my time with her.

Now as far as using other reviews when doing my research.  I kind of look at the score I guess but I read what the review stated.  Short reviews are often discounted no matter the score.  Detailed reviews help paint a picture for me and I use that information in my research.

I did have a lady contact me about a review I posted about her.  It was over the score and some things I mentioned in the review.  She seemed disappointed in the review I gave but in my opinion it was a good review based on that date.  We'll never be able to please everyone but we can do our parts to help give accurate accounts of our dates.

I have had ladies not see me because of who I have seen.  So reviews can go both ways for the guys and ladies.

I don't think there is any wrong or right answer in this thread; rather some healthy discussions that make valid points.  I'd like to think that "Providers" and "Clients" are on the SAME SIDE, not opposite sides (this is not a game, right?).  Yes, scores help in the Top 100 ranking, but taking the SEO idea a bit further when I ask a potential client where they found me and their response is TER, I further inquire and what actually made you pick up the phone and call/text and/or email me.  The general response I receive is not that I have a overall point value, or where I am in top 100 Carolinas, but rather that they read my reviews and weighted their interest on content rather than the stated score.

I'm still fairly new in the hobby world; however, I've learned also from clients who have submitted reviews that there scores were changed by TER and their scoring system because maybe there review didn't have certain acronyms, etc.  So, that 6 or 7 someone received may have been originally submitted as a 9 for performance and thru no one's faulty it was modified because of TER review guidelines and the content didn't have all requirements to earn the 9.  As many have said in this thread previously, let us put less value in a number and more value and quality in the time we spend together during consultations.  At the end of the meeting the two involved know how they treated one another and that is really what should matter!  Just my sex cents LOL!

I don't discount the likelihood that there is rating inflation, but I don't think it follows that it comes directly from the providers. Put simply, I've seen more providers that I have reviewed, but when the experience was not particularly inspiring, I didn't feel inspired to write.   It simply wasn't going to be any fun to revisit a 5 or a 6, so I wasn't inclined to spend my time and mental energy doing so.  

I think too, and this is hardly an original thought, but even if a provider has a good overall rating, I find the real value in the reviews is reading those that are specific, informative, and well-written. More than a raw score, those reviews give the most accurate portrayal of what you can really expect.

In one way or shape or form. I could right a book about the review process here on TER. I think I have seen it all. Honestly I would rather not describe all the little naughty details. I would rather write about the real connection between two adults that found a way to spend some hours in time to create lasting memories.
