The OP’s venting gripe, my two cents and the underlying topic of the thread should not be misconstrued as a shallow or misogynistic denunciation of “unattractive” providers but rather its simply  an indictment on misrepresentation; specifically, the ubiquitous frustration involving fake/deceptive and grossly outdated pics.

On the opposite end of the isle, nobody disputes that there are plenty of less than attractive hobbyists out there as well. In fact, I admire and marvel at the professionalism I imagine many providers must have to employ to still perform at a high level in instances where they encounter clients who fit that description.

If you wanted to pose a more apt hobbyist analogy as it relates to this thread, it would involve a hypothetical hobbyist who, if asked to describe himself during screening, says he is 5’10, 175 and clean shaven but then a 5’1 250lb slob shows up with a Grizzly Adams beard. While exaggerated and probably less common than the converse, I’m sure some derivation of this happens from time to time and when it does, it is equally reprehensible.

I would venture to say 8 out of the last 10 providers I have met, the photos were somewhere between "significantly different" to "Not even close" to being the girl. As I've admitted before, I am somewhat picky with appearance and sometimes fall for the wrong ads but a substantial amount of these were reputable and reviewed girls. I understand what glamour shots can do, and I understand its difficult to hit the gym with busy work schedules, and I understand it's hard to tan year round. But for the love of all that's holy, can we please post photos that were shot 2 years or ten pounds ago instead of one that no longer resembles you, if they ever did. Again, I know there is a large part of the hobby that uses fake pics like it's industry standard. I do not call those girls. I have tried to frequent providers that fit my taste and have accurate reviews. I also understand there is a premium to pay for that. I will sacrifice quantity for quality because I don't do it that often. And yes, I know I'm beating a dead horse that was hit on the side of the road, dragged two miles, bloated for a week, picked apart by buzzards, then runover again. It still bothers me...

BTW- I respect the ladies that post on the TER Carolina forums. Most of them use acturate photos so I'm not picking on this site alone, but the whole industry. Thanks for listening...

I too am highly selective and limit my dealings to well reviewed girls.

However, I actually hold in great admiration a couple grotesque local BP fixtures whom I’ve never met nor will I ever visit [even at gun point] precisely because they DO use honest and recent pix. This assures neither of us wastes the others’ time and allows them to appropriately cater to that particular element of hobbyist with the specific tastes to appreciate what they have to offer.

Another common red-flag phenomenon is creative photography where photos are obviously being taken from an unorthodox angle and/or with a particular outfit being worn with the obvious intent to conceal something saggy or unappealing..

Not to disparage these ladies nor suggest they post overtly unflattering pictures of themselves accentuating their imperfections but it would be nice if they would strive to provide a remotely recent picture that offers a representation that is also at least roughly accurate. To varying degrees, many guys actually go for softer more natural looks so those ladies that have it should flaunt it as opposed to luring other gentlemen looking for something else they don’t have to offer.

All of this having been said, misrepresentation is largely the nature of the business, its never going to change and the problem’s pervasiveness long pre-dates the advent of BP and digital photography.

I’m sure there were plenty of equally disappointed frontiersmen 150 years ago who picked out what ostensibly appeared to be a promising lady of the night from the local Saloon line-up only for them to shed their corset upstairs to reveal a distended, stretch-mark laden gut…

just close your eyes for 15-30 mins for the "Highly selective and well reviewed girls"
according to your reviews

As I’m sure plenty can attest, the mediocre outcomes which generally result from a couple impetuous, short-notice, middle of the work day type decisions early on in this so-called hobby quickly teaches one the value of eschewing the desire for instant gratification in favor of  greater patience and selectivity.

Do you think when you walk into a Chrysler dealership that they will emphasize how bad consumer reports rates them? When you sign up for Time Warner Cable or Verizon do they tell you they will screw you over every chance they can? Does the young beautiful lady you ask to marry you tell you that she will soon gain 40 pounds and all of a sudden only wants sex once a month?

Life is about trial and error. You found two good ones out of ten. Reward them. See them again and enjoy.

BTW, the beautiful blonde posting above is quite accurate in her pictures and super nice. If she comes to your town don't miss her.

to anyone I may have offended.

However, I do document any provider's photos that are fake or way off. Although I'm not sure how it works, even though I indicate "no" for acurate photos, the providers profile still appears to say yes. I assume it's because TER takes the average and not the one most recent, and that's ok too. I understand the tanning issue but if you have lovely fair skin, show that in your photograph and the client will decide. And although anyone can debate the quality of the ladies I've reviewed, based on the photos they advertise, I would never apologize for their appearance. My reviews reflect some of my experiences, good and bad, with as much accuracy as I can lend but all reviews are subjective when it comes to personal taste. I do not prefer Latinas necessarily but those reviews were providers that fit my physical preferences and travel schedule. I truely respect J and her ads because I'm sure I would be getting excactly what's adversied and then some.

As for the clients being "not so hot himself", if that were that case it's not the point, as someone has already elequantly articulated.

And the car dealership annalogy is just stupid. I don't expect to be told about all the flaws and imperfections. But if I go to buy a Shelby GT, don't try to sell me an Ecololine work van.

Thanks to all the PMs that voiced their private support. For the record no one PMed stating their opposition. I'm sure that will change....
