How do you feel about them? I've read the pros and cons, and would like to know what most of you think of them. I've been using one for some time now, and have had many people balk at using it. Do you think it would help if the form was submitted securely, just like credit card information? Would that make anyone feel better about it?

If you are referring to verification info like work, or other personal info, it aint happening.  I will move on even if I am 100% certain they are providers and not LE.  You never know how info is saved.  It might come back to bite you years down the road.  Other than that I am glad to give out refs, meet in public, etc.

Will never, ever happen if I have to fill out a form. I don't care how secure it is, it's just too impersonal.

I'll share some personal information over the phone, but I will never share "reference" information via e-mail.  It's a shame because some really nice ladies in Raleigh insist on it and I won't budge.
I once attended a training session where the topic was "There is no such thing as a completely erased e-mail".  Believe it cause it's true.
If the other person is too busy to allow a phone conversation, then they're probably too busy to see me.  On the other hand, I'll share just enough (via phone) to make them feel comfortable provided they are well reviewed so that I'm comfortable.

Depends on what you expect to find out... want references, my hobby name, my hobby contact info, my likes and dislikes... no problem.

You want work, home, or other REAL information and as was said in prior post... never, Never, NEVER, gonna happen.

To many other very reliable verifications methods available to risk that one.

I know there are many other men who feel the way you do. I will be working on a few changes, with your input in mind, over the next few weeks.

A man with no references has to start somewhere. If he does not feel comfortable sharing his information with me, I agree, there are many other reliable verification methods out there. I have some of their links on my website. They are not perfect though, so I would still rely upon a few other things I keep up my sleeve. Thanks again guys!

Never. Simply move on to the next ad if such personal information is required.  I don't know how some ladies attract business who require such in-depth information (you want my work information? what???). In conversation, sure, such as at the end of the date maybe we'll casually talk about what I do for a living. But never in an online form would I give out a real full name and work phone number, etc.   And this is precisely while I'll never deal with agencies.
