Thanks for the support I'll actually be in Atlanta. Figure being 300 miles from home will give me enough space to not see anyone I know if I bomb it. Only person I'll know there will be my date for the evening and she's the one who encouraged me to do it. She knows I've got a pretty screwed up sense of humor anyway.
Need some volunteers ladies. I ran this by one lady and she helped me out but I changed it a bit and hate to waste someone's time. 2 weeks from today I'm making my first and probably only performance as as stand up comic. Kind of a bucketlist thing and maybe impress a gal who will be with me. So of any of you lovely ladies have time email me at [email protected] and I'll type up what I plan on doing and I can send it to a few of ya at one time and get some feed back. A little nervous and need some honest opinions, don't want to run it by my friend who will be with me that night since stuff is not as funny the second time around. And if any of you fellas want in on the embarrassment you're welcome to join. Just a note I'm gonna send to a few at once so be sure to use hobby emails so nothing gets sent somewhere it don't need to be.

Sure, some jokes read well, particularly one-liners, but we've all tried to tell our favorite comedian's jokes and bombed. You might want to tape yourself and send out an audio/video link. It's all in the delivery.
Very true!! Timing is everything and for sure don't laugh at you're own jokes. I've got a pretty decent delivery and I can say the most awkward shit with a total matter of fact tone like it's perfectly normal. We'll see thanks for the advice
