I was making a small purchase via the computer this morning and when I went to check out, I immediately noticed the expiration date on my card! So I called Visa, waited through all the recordings and options, until I finally reached a live person. I explained to the young man that I was in the process of making a purchase when I realized my card had expired. He ask me, "What's the date on your card?". I said, "12/12".

Apparently I have no idea what year it is! I was so embarrassed!!!

I've done worse. Ten or so years ago I purchased my first laptop. I brought it home plugged it in, but the screne wouldn't light up. So I called Toshiba technical support and told them I felt I had a defective machine. The gentleman ask me, "Is it pugged in?". I said, "yes'. He ask me,"Did you turn it on?"

We all do some mmmmmm not so smart things.  Most dont admit it.  I on the other hand went to start my motorcycle yesterday.  It wouldnt turn over, had lots of power cause the lights burnt bright.  I have ridden for 41 years and I messed with it for 1/2 an hour.   Then my brain kicked in and I noticed the emergency cutoff on the handlebar was OFF!  Flick of the switch and I was back in business. All the bikers out there are shaking their heads in disbelief.

I forget my debt card one time and filled my tank with gas. went in. I was so embarrassed ang begged to drive to the bank. They took my DL and said hurry back. I was in such a hurry I drove off with the gas pump still in my car.. Apparently it has a emergency shut off valve and a break away option,. As I am pulling out I hear the bang, Thump , thumb and see people waving and running...

Guess what Jessica? I have driven off with the nozzle still in my tank too!  lol  

Is it not funny to look into your rear view mirror & for one brief second wonder "why is everyone jumping up & down?" as you hear the bang, thump, thump....

I stopped, picked up the nozzle, walked back into the store- handing the employee it saying "oops"

LOL.  Roadshow that sounds like what some top end Nascar guys have done.  They accidently bump the emergency cutoff on the steering wheel and think the car blew up only to find out later it was just a slip of the hand.  

LOL. Sorry....that just made me laugh.  We have all done crap like that.....and I am not blond!  Love the new pics.

dont feel bad marie you could write a book about all my blonde moments! one time i went through the drive through at the bank, when i got home there was a message on my answering machine asking if i could return their bank tube LOL!

So, there they are sitting in the cave writing, writing & writing, most likely passing the pipe around the circle.  lol  Close your eyes & imagine...maybe in a silly moment while they were suffering a hand cramp they decided to quit. WTH maybe they thought it was enough???  Or maybe they had a sense of humor & just wanted to mess with people in the future?  

I can so see a man passing his buddy the pipe- saying "if we stop now, it will make them wonder"

If the world ends this year, I need to know what day. I then need to divide my assets by the number of days remaining, and see how many times I can drive to Southern Pines....among other places. Of course, if the Mayans are wrong I will be screwed, but either way I will be smiling..?

Every day????  You wont believe how many times friends have called and cant get the bike started.  I say 'check the emergency shut off'.  The dumb thing is I sat for the longest time and never checked it myself.  I have been ridding for 41 years.  For me that is dumb.

But actually its the end of a world age. Things will change around then.  Maybe they will legalize hobbying.
