You should be in the best area of Charlotte.....which is Southpark.....also has the most wealth.
My 1st choice is the Crabtree are. @nd is what's now known as Midtown Raleigh. With Midtown, be care of some hotels trying to be part of Midtown but are on Wake Forest Rd.
Also IMO stay away from Capitol Blvd.
