Beacuse Of Additional Cancellations I Will NOT Be In Charlotte ...

It really pains me to no end to post this message! I have been a cheerleader for this even from the get go...

After TWO more cancellations last night, in addition to the cancellation of my M&G date for Thursday, I will not be there. To say I'm sad and disapointed is an understatement! This literally is breaking my heart !

If this was in my home town and not a 2 hr 45 minute drive one way, and a hotel reservation at a VERY nice hotel in the uptown Charlotte area, I would be there regardless.

I offered M&G special rates that are far lower than my rates posted on my website. No one stepped up when I posted my ad earlier this week about being available Thursday due to a cancellation. I was going to come anyway bacause I still had 2 dates booked for my THREE day visit!

That all changed last night and now I have ZERO dates booked.  Two of my cancellaions were TER members and the other an EROS guy with a sudden emergency.

If Charlotte isn't showing me the love, I can't justify making the trip. I have been looking forward to this party for months and made sure my out of state travels didn't coincide with the date of the party.

My French manicure I got yeaterday looks fab, but hey, it will look fab for my 3 hr dinner date on Sunday right here in Raleigh. My new black dress will be packed on my next out of state trip. Charlotte is now off my Carolinas Eros ad, hotel resevation cancelled and life goes on...

To the two lovely hostesses and the ladies attending, have a grand time for me! I'll miss meeting you ...

I know it must be disappointing to plan a tour around the meet and greet, and have expectations that will not be met.
With the  expectations not being met, the Meet and Greet is still on!

What a bummer. It sucks... However, I am still going. Wish you were too. I will try and call you in a bit, or feel free to call me and maybe we can help each other out. .....i've attended many M&G's, travelled over 2 & 3 hrs, hotel room, etc. I have seen many ladies who I did not see that night for future dates, & there are more as well on my bucket list that I will see in the future because of meeting them in person @ a M&G.

M&G's are valuable marketing tools for the ladies, they aren't always instant gradification, but great future business investments that you reap later.

Hope all that attend have a great time, you'll meet new friends from both sexes. It's great for your region to have one. Have fun!

Ditto Gator's thoughts.  Hope you ladies who may not come b/c of cancellations decide to show up.  I think's it's a great opportunity for future connections as I and probably many of the others value the chance to meet some of you in person and hopefully spend some time w/ in the near future.  I also look forward to meeting fellow hobbiest's.  Personally, I think it's going to be a great time for everyone who shows and I'm looking forward to this gala event!!!

I don't see men the night of the party.  They start calling about a week or so later.  It can get you pushed up on someone's to do list quickly when they meet you in person and can feel your energy, see you face to face, hug you, etc.  I love meet and greets and attend all of them in Atlanta.  I love meeting the ladies too.  Madison

I go to Charlotte maybe twice a year. I've been to 4 M&Gs and they all were fun but out of state. When the ladies come from afar, trust me they are there to have fun at the M&G as part of their out of town TOUR.

This was going to be a three day tour in Charlotte for me.

I'm glad there be many pretty ladies there and hope everyone has a great time.

Just like you have dogs in heat and can't take them to a boarder...I have children who would have to go to a two day sitter and thats more expenses to add on for me.

So it's not easy to just say "put work aside" and show up. You have dogs..I have kids. Sorry. I dont understand the drama around this.

The drama was brought to the board. Providers not being able to attend the meet and greet due to cancellations. Like you said this has been planned for months. One night hotel fee set aside over a few months is not that much to come up with. It started out as a fun get together and turned into now I can't afford to attend because I can't work.
I think that is drama.

And I will respectfully say that I was shocked to read your post. You have been the biggest cheerleader for the whole thing. The hostess. I would have thought you'd be all set with a free night..since you volunteered.

I don't like the idea of us all here feeling guilty because dresses were bought, nails were manicured, hair..etc. We all know that we always have those expenses and how we choose to spend our own money is not to the fault of others.

I'm really shocked by the whole drama, myself.
I hope that the Meet and Greet can continue on.
And hopefully a lesson is to be learned from the whole experience.

Here is another thing I felt. I wanted to attend. There was a hotel I wanted to stay at. but I found out that others were staying there. I didn't really want to go there. I wasn't working, I know LE in CLT and I wanted to be on a road less traveled. I was talking to a ter member on here and told him that there would be plenty of ladies working before or after...etc...not during. He was surprised. I told him some will tour there.
But I didn't think some would come out on the board and say what has been said.

In all my days of meet and greets this is a first.
I need to go watch Duke and I sure hopen

The date and time? I assume location is secret.

None of my clients come from ter well not the majority, so it would be pure fun. And pure coincidence if I could get away.

Speaking hypethetically here. I love that you all are so passionate about your career, and your fun.

Why post this other than to get attention.  You could have easily contacted anyone who actually needed to know by email or PM.

Most of her posts are to get attention!!! There are a few drama queens on the NC board, and she is one of them!

but you are out of line here. What you just said is rude. She posted that she was not going to be there because of cancellations. She stated that she could not afford to go without appointments. She did not say anything that could be construed as drama. AND there is no sense in putting her down because she doesn't do things the way you think she should. It's HER business, not yours. Nobody need to put on a superior attitude either.
