Depending on your personal commitments, Downtown Raleigh or North Hills would be good spots to be. The best pricing is around RDU/RTP, but you'll be jumping in your car because it's about 20 minutes to get anywhere from there. Downtown Durham has the best walking/food combo and is about 25-30 minutes northwest of downtown Raleigh. Chapel Hill is 35-45 minutes west of Raleigh and also has great walking and food. It's a home game weekend for UNC, so hotel prices are a little higher.
