I was just looking at a provider ad on TER. There was no mention of rate in the ad, but there was a link included that went to and ad on another site. There was a rate listed in that ad of $xxx/hr. Okay, so I wanted to know more about this lady and checked her TER profile (yeah, I know that you can't rely on rates there), so after looking at reviews, I clicked the link to her web site. Now, her web site listed a slightly higher hourly rate, though not of significant consequense. Still the amounts are different and neither the ads nor the main web site made any mention of specials or discounts.
So, what rate would one expect to pay? I have always understood that the lady's web site should be the final word, and always try to check there. But what if I did not? Suppose I just looked at the ad she linked to, made a date, and took the donation that was listed there (less than the one on her web site). Would she feel shorted? Would I look like some kind of cheapskate? Again, the amount was not the issue - I just want to be correct! Since it is not typically good form to discuss these things, how should one proceed? I would appreciate your thoughts, since this is not as uncommon as one might think.
Please ladies, make it simple for us! We are just men, LOL, and our minds are clouded when looking at your photos, and reading about you. ;
