So, I am tall, dark and handsome (so I am told), educated, a successful professional, respectful, polite and generous, and looking to meet a provider.  The problem?  I have never seen a provider before, and every provider seems to want a provider reference.  I find myself in the proverbial Catch-22:  can't meet someone without a reference but can't get a reference without meeting someone.

What gives?  Any advice?  I don't really want to meet someone once simply because they don't require a reference and I need a reference.  but is that how it is done?

I feel bad for you as us providers also live in paranoia of psychos and LE.  You could start with a dancer and see if she offers extra on the menu or give out your info to an agency since many agency girls do become independants as some time

I am in Charleston and I meet up with beginner clients for drinks/dinner so I have a stronger defense in case LE is taping the whole thing but I am higher priced as I am someone in between an escort and a girlfriend.

You can also be verified through your business name and number. No cell phones though. You also may want to look into registering with date-check.com. Good luck.

I love date-check, it's easy and painless.   Unfortunately, with the way the LE climate has been lately, more and more ladies are tightening up their screening even more

There are several verification services, I prefer date-check myself.  There is also, rs2k and preferred 411.

I will verify with employer info and employment verification. Strong and adequate verification!!! I will also need some additional info, and your blood type and blood sample! HAHAHA Just kidding!!
But we do have other ways to verify! We just may not be in your area!

... it's nothing personal... but just about every guy that finds his way to this hobby is faced with the very same dilema.  Add to that the problems with recent operations in Lexington and Charlotte... these girls would be wise to tighten their screening and look at every new guy as a potential threat.

I think what helped me the most... aside from advice from experienced guys... was developing the attitude that the only thing I was paying for was time and companionship.  I never ask for anything... not until we had become consenting adults.  And if things weren't right... I would walk.

The ladies that have responded to you are all pretty sharp and give solid advice.  Be patient.  Post.  And you will probably have to see a few ladies that don't screen as tightly as others.  But in the end, you will probably have to take a leap of faith and trust one with some personal information...

... just be sure to do your homework and pick the right one.
