How do you feel if a provider started to accept credit cards and garaunteed discreet billing providers what do you think as along as every was run smoothly...Angencies take them and I have managed an agency years ago never really any problems. what do yall think?

It's like pulling teeth to get clients to give information to verify them, can you imagine trying to get a credit card number??? lol. But, I'm sure the IRS would love your idea.

Good thinking!  LMAO:)

I've only had one experience charging. After that bad experience, I would never do it again.
The agency double charged me, I called the bank, they in turn called the agency, and told them that if the double charges weren't corrected, the bank would begin fraud investigation.
The acct was corrected the next day!
Also, the 'date' wasn't worth a tenth of the charge.

We take CC here at our agency and I have had one bad experience with a guy using his dads credit card for 3 dates totaling over $1500. The dad ended up disputing the charges but we had the imprint from each date and his sons signature and the date in his own writing so we disputed the chargebacks, provided the proof and it worked in our favor and the money was reurned. Accepting CC doubled our business and if you use all precautions like getting imprints and signatures along with a date on it and always check ID to make sure it is there card you should be fine dear and indeed it may increase your business. On the other hand some guys dont like the paper trail or have had bad experiences and wont use them but most of our established clients do use CC for the convenience of not having to run to the bank. Just my imput sweetie pie. Hope I was of some help to ya:)

As an independant, it's too risky. You've obviously never been audited. What are your reasons for even thinking about CC's?

i have owned my own company in the past and i agree as long as you have imprint there should not be any chargebacks authorization comes first to make sure funds are available.
when I ran my service and started to accept cc my bus doubled and i have a fabolous cpa thanxxx

Sweetie, all of that is irrelevant. My whole point is, this is a risky business to begin with, why draw more attention to yourself by leaving a paper trail (are all your clients willing to back up your story of what you are offering?)? If your CPA is that fab he will advise against it. I really don't care what you do and wish you the best. I've got a few years on you and wisdom does come with age...the cc thing might cost you in the long run. Good luck regardless.

I've taken credit cards for 8+ years. As long as you are listed as an escort agency (w/the processor) and you pay taxes, no problems.
