Hey all, just curious if it has become more normal to get cancelled on a lot, or is it (un)lucky me?

Granted I'm not active in the hobby as much as I was a few years ago, but this year for instance, the last 3 times I scheduled some time with a provider, I've gotten cancelled on (all after having arrived at the location which was not local!).  Today was the strangest one yet, at least before I did have some type of confirmation (confirmation of the cancel even though it was late), but today there was (and still is) no response to email, phone or vm after arriving.  Almost as if something happened in this case, because communication was fine few weeks up until this.  One of them I had seen before, the other 2 were going to be new.

Years ago I don't ever remember getting cancelled on, so maybe its just this year?  I've read plenty of messages where ladies are upset when guys are NCNS and I'm in total agreement.  However, I hope everyone understands its a still a 2 way street.
