Has anyone given their complete name to an agency and then had to regret it?

The risk is not so much the agency misusing it rather the risk is in it being saved on paper/electronic media and ending up in the hands of a hacker or LE

No, never had a problem.  That said, I refuse to provide certain information to indes or agencies via the internet. Someone saving an e-mail is easy and discoverable. In order to recover a phone call, one needs a court order.  Big difference.  
BTW, I make NO exceptions.  Either you take the info via phone or there is no interest in a meeting.

I understand that when an agency gets busted, the LE retrive all their information. That would be very scary! If you see me, the only time I keep any information is if you ask me to be a reference for you. I don't keep anything but an e-mail address so that way I can remeber who you where. Also I keep a little data base in my mind. I believe discreetion is important! I've knowen a few providers and they are the same way, so independent providers I feel is the way to go. Let me first say, I too would hesitate to give all of my info to any agency but, I also understand their position..

I do usually ask for  your name. It seems it is the least you could do? I trust you to come into my home or I trust you enough to be left alone with you and then trust you enough to be a safe, sane, respectful gentleman. by the way. you are twice my size, strength and weight. If you can't give me your name. I have to ask. what are you hiding...???

Do you not trust me enough with that simple request? How much disrespect of me does it show that you ask me to share something so intimate with you and you refuse this simple request.. The deniel of this request screams to me that you are up to no good.. what if you did do something to me. do you think that I would not contact the authorities? If I did not at least have your name. You will get away with it.. over and over again..
I am not saying that you are all bad.

my point is this. very simple...

My life, career, kids, home and privacy are no less important then yours.. So give to me the same respect that you are asking for..
