A couple years ago on another board, I mentioned I couldn't get a date in the real world. What a mistake! I had hobby board lurkers coming out of the woodwork to be my boyfriend. One guy showed up for an appointment and announce at the time he arrived he was ready to be my boyfriend. He was married, lived in another state, had kids, and made it to my area to play golf about once a year. He said I could call and text him all I wanted between get togethers. He was serious! And then I couldn't get rid of him! I almost had to call one of my big guys friends from my gym to have him removed!
Well it's starting again
I got an e-mail from a guy supposedly in my area who is married, but in an open relationship who has volunteered to date me........OH BOY!!!! *sarcasim*
So it's like...
Ok....who will we be spending the holidays with? Your family or mine?
That is so cool your wife will be fine with us sleeping in the same bed every night.
Where are we vacationing this year?
So you are going to help me with my parents when they are no longer able to take care of themselves?
So next time I have sugery, you are going to drive me to the clinic, pick me up, sit up with me all night, and make sure I take all my pills when I am supposed to. And if I have a bad reaction like last time, you will sit up all night with me in the ER?

Most of us understood that you were venting not pleading for a date in desperation.
It takes all kinds but you sometimes wonder why.
I personally was glad you made that post cause it did, how do I say this, I cant find the right words to post...... comforted me. Like a nurse at a bedside of a ill patient. I guess it makes my situation not just my own. It happens to others with little or no reason. I guess its the 'it isnt just me' feeling. So your post did good in someone elses life. Through cyber space you touched another in a good way. and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
But I do regret that it caused you pain in any way. Remember you are above all the BS. Do not allow anyone to pull you down. Hold your head up high. You are a very special lady. And again thank you.

1) The married man. He's already got the home, nice wife, children, etc. He will never exchange anything to build the family with you. All he wants is for you to give him the emotional support he needs and sex for free.

Don't let jerks like that get ya down Ma'am, you are better than them and are smart enough to realize the games people ( men ) play. You KNOW we as men can be incredibly STOOPID! I guess we also forget sometimes and think that you lovely ladies are too, way deep down inside, we know better! Keep being the wonderful Lady that you are and good things will come, you are too much of a prize for it not to happen! I, like several others on here, saw that post as a slight glimpse into the truly human side of you and it served to remind me and hopefully others, again, that you wonderful ladies should not be taken for granted. We get to share a part of you for a brief time and it is truly a blessing that we probably do not deserve. But for me, I feel truly privledged that I got to spend some time with a wonderful human being!
