the norm for Melissa.  She did it to me once....but there was no deposit involved, thankfully. Sorry to hear about u possibly loosing a deposit over it. I have only once seen anyone that requires a deposit. Luckily that worked out fine, but I probably will never see anyone that requires a deposit again.

I was in Myrtle Beach 4 weeks ago and sent Melissa a deposit in advance.  Called on the day of appointment, but never got through to anyone (just got her voicemail).  I had a second appointment set up in advance for several days later, but since I never heard back from her I made other arrangements for the second date.

When I returned home, I had an e-mail from her saying that she had an asthma attach and was in the hospital with bronchitis.  This e-mail was sent the day after our first scheduled appointment.  In this e-mail she had inquired about still getting together for our second date.  Since I was on vacation I did not have access to e-mail (something I mentioned to her several times prior to my arrival).

I replyed to her e-mail telling saying that I had made other arrangements for the second date since she never returned my calls, and I was not going to be left hanging a second time.  I inquired about getting my deposit back, and have yet to get any response.

I wish I knew about this history before I send her the deposit.  Live and learn I guess.
