Like outside somewhere? Definitely not Northlake, North charlotte is crap. You know it's raining yes? :-)

I am staying at Northlake because the company put me there. My wife needs to walk because of surgery. Gentle, not too strenuous, and safe.  A short drive to a place is fine. "is crap" is why I asked.  I don't go out at night around there
I hope it doesn't rain all week.
Thanks

I've purposely never gone to it, but it's inside at least!

Well you could walk around the mall in the evenings BUT

1. Second  the Mallard Creek greenway which is over by the University area is a great one - google Kent Village Dr off Prosperity Church Rd - Wellington neighborhood
2. Birkdale Village exit 25 off 77 just west of the interstate - tons of shops and restaurants with a greenway behind the shops - entrance by the Fleet Feet shop on the west side of the movie theater. Dinner plus a walk.
3. Jetton Park is next exit up as mentioned with a path around the park and by the lake
4. Davidson College campus even further north (heck the town of Davidson for that matter)
