My list

Any of the Indiana Jones movies, takes me back to being a kid again

LA Confidential cool movie set in 1940's Hollywood. I think I would have liked to have lived in that era, life was a bit simpler and I think I would have looked cool wearing a nice suit and fedora hat everywhere.

Dodgeball laugh my ass off everytime and Christine Taylor is hot as hell.

Not a movie but those old black and white Twilight Zones are awesome I have the whole series on DVD, some really great writing and story telling. Couldn't just blow shit up and show boobies on TV then so the story had to carry the show.

Hobby-Centric Cinema

I love contemporary film and even the roughest semblance of a semi-comprehensive list of my favs would number over 100.

To name just a couple however, which were influential to me growing up and are also pertinent to the subject matter of this board :

Risky Business / 1983
American Beauty / 1999

Two of the best dark comedies of the past 30 years with stunning cinematography, both of which exalt the same central theme; that sometimes in life, you just have to say “fuck it” and allow yourself to indulge in the satisfactions the world has to offer.
